My Knicks just had a triple OT game vs the Mavs.

Down by 2 at the end of regulation, Melo hit a mid range jumper with about .6 left on the clock.

We were down by 3 with 3 seconds left at the end of the first OT. I inbound it to Raymond Felton (our starting PG), he runs and takes a really deep 3 with 1.5 still on the clock. I'm like but it goes in!

Then in the 2nd OT, we're up by 3 with a second left, Kidd shoots a 3 from the same distance as Felton and hits the buzzer beater.

In the 3rd OT, the Mavs got an early 4 point lead. We were still down by 4 with about 10 seconds left. I was inbounding in the Mavs' side of the court, I look for Melo but he's on the opposite side of the court and now isn't the time for a turnover so I give it to Shannon Brown who......... dribbles for 9 seconds then shoots a 2 with Dirk in his face.

So disappointing and frustrating to lose a game like that because of a stupid move by the CPU.

Around 15 games in i think. I am 6'3 all around pg. got drafted by the nuggets on the 22nd pick. Demanded a trade on the 5th game, got traded on the 9th game.
1st choice: Knicks because I can play pass first
2nd choice: clippers to play with blake griffin
3rd choice: Magic because i can take off the scoring load off D12

averaging around 24 pts 3 rebs 7 assists 4 steals 1 blk

Seems like a ton of people are wanting trades as a rook. I plan on staying till my contract is up and testing the free agent market. Might pull a LBJ, stay for about 7 years, say I'll bring the Suns a title, then after failing all of those times, leave and go join whatever team Kevin Durant happens to be on, have a press conference and say I'm taking my talents to KD, and we gonna win not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7 titles.

Question: When you ask for a trade does your buzz go down? My buzz was in the high 70s and for some strange reason, after the regular season ended and I won my trophies, my buzz went down automatically to the mid 60s.

Created a 7'1"" 280lbs defensive center and so far so good through 3 games.

Averaging 15 mins per game, 14pts, 4rebs, 1.5ast, 1.5blks, and 1.7 stls per game. Playing for the Utah Jazz backing up Jefferson and Millsaps.

Working on getting my def reb to about 95 and my off reb to about 90 then I'm going to start focusing on my offensive skills.

Gonna start playing this tomorrow, as far as simulating, is it still you cant get points for simulating? It would be nice if you could get a prorated amount even when you simulate.

i still get sp and milestones completed when I play only key games
(simming non key games)

So yesterday I get my first start after getting traded to the Bulls and D.Rose and I really meshed together with him having 21 Points and 12 Assists and me having 29 Points off of 7 Threes (6 of which were assists from D.Rose), I go to play the next game and then the stupidest thing ever happens.

To the people complaining about stupid AI trades, yesterday I went through the whole roster and lowered everyone's potential. Also I put no trade clauses on franchise players like, Rose, Nash, Kobe, Pierce, Manu, STAT, Melo, Wade, Bron etc.

I based it off a roster I downloaded who had good rookie faces.

Well hey, it's worked for King James so far. Throw in a few MVP awards, a couple fourth quarter breakdowns, a teammate who cries after every lost and I'm destined to be the highest rated player on NBA 2k12. Change my number to 6 and go play on another stars team. That should get me bonus Hall of Fame points, right? right? Right!

The playoffs must be a whole different monster of a challenge. Beat the Clips in 6 games, moved on to the Lakeshow in the second round, game 2, we are down 1-0, my first start, Kobe goes off! scores 63 in the win. Now we down 2-0 going to staple center.

Turn off autosave guys instead of lowering potentials (that makes them more likely to be traded for nothing and get worse).

The moment you see something stupid after simming load your game.

Guys, apparently some guy claims to have been drafted 2nd overall to the Timberwolves. I don't know if it's true, but it could be possible it depends on position how high you go up in the draft. Gonna post the entire post below, but here's the link to where I found it.

I did the Rookie showcase quite a few times trying to check out which teams were all available for a shooting guard.

I had a monster rookie showcase and an A+ rating about my 10-12 time, I was interviewed and drafted by the Timberwolves second overall...... they asked some weird questions too about whether or not I could play in the cold? I would think they would have more important questions since they only ask two.

Also, getting an A+ rating is not nearly as hard as some people think it is. I had a game where I went for 50-3-5 against the Bulls and I think I got an A- rating.

However, the first A+ I got was in an NBA game and I had a mediocre stat line. Something like 30-1-3 with 2 steals or so.

If you take the right shots, whether you make or miss, you get good return. Playing good/hard defense gets you alot. Steals/blocks add monster "bar" especially if converted into points.

A steal+ Fill lane correctly on transition + assist + score off steal = almost a full bar in the C range.

I have gotten A- ratings with less than 15 points early on. You just have to make the right.smart play as often as you can.

I got my A+ in less than 12 games played on the 2K franchise period (this is my first 2K). It cannot be THAT difficult, most people just need to play better.

If this holds true, then as a PG you'd probably need to drop 15-20 dimes to be considered for Cleveland. MIN already has Rubio, and the Jazz could be a possibility at 3. I personally would rather go to Charlotte, since I could become the true scoring option. Gonna scrap my Jazz MP and start a new one.
