Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Little Things Thread!
I was playing the Wilt Chamberlain greatest games challenge, I was in the 4th dominating with Wilt, and while my Lakers were on D the crowd started chanting, "CHAMBERLAIN! CHAMBERLAIN!" I know the MVP chant was in last year but I hadn't heard this chant when my team was on D.Comment

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Little Things Thread!
yeah playing the legends game is just a blast I just wish they gave us the option of playing home or away.
Like for example Chamberlain challenge played in NY instead in LA. This would give us more variety.Comment

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Little Things Thread!
I'm not sure about this one. But I was playing Mavs vs. Heat last night and I saw an open lane to the bucket.
Burst to the lane, tried performing a Euro Step as Dirk got in position to block my layup, and instead of the typical "big step to the right, big step to the left, finish", it was almost as if Wade saw Dirk and adjusted his Euro Step to avoid Dirk.
So it became more of a "quick step to the right, big step to the left, finish" type deal.
So basically, there ARE a bunch of different Euro Steps. I'm not sure if they're player specific, but it sure seems like it. (see. Manu in the Controls Trailer)
(I'll see if I can record the video later today)Comment

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Little Things Thread!
Just had Greg Oden screen two players at once. Not by design of course, but it was still beautiful. Then I got a shooting foul without releasing the ball and my player started pumping his fist with the ball in his hands.
Such a beautiful sequence.Comment

The return of the intro movie, I think 2k6 was the last time they had one.
I was playing against Cleveland and the PA announcer was singing happy birthday to some guy named Matty.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Little Things Thread!
Benny the Bull was firing off the t-shirt gun, but instead of the closer angle I've typically seen, it was shown from a nosebleed shot. This is significant due to the fact that wherever he fired a shirt, the fans in the general vicinity would all jump to catch it. Such a tiny, unnecessary, yet completely beautiful and disbelief-suspending detail that made it look that much more like actual footage.Comment

Made a turnaround jumper at the buzzer and it was sent to replay. Felt like I was watching an actual game when it went to review.........the little thingsComment

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Little Things Thread!
I hit an end-of-quarter buzzer beater with player Steve Kerr and color man Steve Kerr said something like, "Now that's how you end a quarter." Clark Kellogg then chimed in with "You'd know all about that, wouldn't you?" I think it was a coincidental exchange, but it worked given the circumstance.
Also, during the Kareem challenge, one of the commentators mentioned how amazing it was Kareem could play as many minutes as he did while having to carry Lanier and Walton up and down the court, a clear ode to Kareem's line in Airplane.Last edited by VDusen04; 10-07-2011, 04:46 PM.Comment
