Does anyone know gamestop return policy? If the code comes on the receipt i was think i could go get the game and get the code off the receipt and take it back without opening it

You have 30 days and it isn't a problem.. I always pre-order from Gamestop when they have an exclusive pre-order bonus that I want and as soon as I use the code I return the unopened game for a refund. I would never actually buy from them unless I really had no other option.

If this is the case, then I'll go buy it from there and use the code then return it unopened.

I need the virging gaming code also lol. I heard that comes on the receipt also.

Just to be clear, for anyone that got the game from gamestop the game comes with the code for the virging gaming tournament, and the to locked teams right?

Just thought I would chime in on this.

I bought mine this morning (Tuesday) at Target, got the XBOX 360 version, Bird on the cover (the one I wanted) and I had the code in mine.

I don't know why some people aren't getting the code.

my code doesn't work... hmm??

i tried all caps and even put hyphens and all that non-sense.

then again.. my game cant sync with nba today either. idk whats up.

My code wouldn't work at first either, entered it multiple times with dashes & without. Got it to work the third time I entered it with all caps and dashes

MAybe I'm missing something, but everyone who bought there copy from a 'MAJOR RETAILER" and not ebey/craigslist or the dude in the alley selling out his trunk of his car has recieved the code correct?

If this is the case now we know why some have them and some don't. Am I missing something?

@ those saying they'll just buy the game and return it unopened to get the code - don't you have to open the game anyways to get the DLC code, since the code is located inside the case.

not true, Some people who got the game early have the code as well....

Yeah but I guess that's the risk you take when you get the game before it officially releases.

If you have a friend that has the code for the teams you should be able to recover their gamertag and put the code in then sign out and sign into your account and you should have the teams..

That's what me and one of my friends do for COD map packs. I'm guessing it would work the same with these codes.

i think someone said the codes come on the receipt but i just want someone to confirm this that got the game from gamestop before i try this
