Dont know yet. Might be a madden tourney but thing is that I dont want to give to a dude who has the game.

Prefer to give it to someone who has no game. I know it will be hard but I will look into this

That's what I heard, I have the Jordan cover and revived no code in my game.

I have the Jordan cover and got the code with my game when I bought it from Kmart. Matter of fact the Jordan cover was the only cover they even had at Kmart out here.

I got mine from kmart here in lynchburg, va. The only cover tgey had for the 360 was magic but it did come with the code.

My code worked fine and stuff but the main issue i'm having right now is the code doesn't register right away when i first turn on the game. is anyone else having that problem? When i first start up the game, the teams don't show. After i play for awhile or go on myplayer it finally shows i put the code in and then i can use the teams, its becoming annoying

i live in Sacramento. (not a kings fan tho) Went to Gamestop after work yesterday. I asked if they had NBA2k with the unlock codes for the kings/warriors -- the guy told me Nope, only for people that preordered. I said that's fine, I'll buy a copy anyway.

Got home and opened up the game, and the access code was inside, on a card that read "Congratulations for picking up your copy early". Lucky for me...


but what about for everyone else? like my friends? Will 2K eventually make these 2 teams available...at some point? How do these things (special unlock codes) usually work? Seems pretty frustrating to me, that a game would be made with special features -- that only people who are able/lucky enough to get early -- have access to...

They probably will.......

Just like the UFC games, eventually they released the extra fighters via DLC

OR

More recently Deus Ex, they released the pre-order bonus weapons via DLC now.

I would have opened it right there in front of the guy after I bought it and pulled out the card, plucked it and said "yep, there's the unlock codes, good thing I pre-ordered" and walked away.

you can input the code as much times as you want ronnie2k said it on his twitter and I tried it to make sure it was true. You could just ask a friend for his code and it should work

You can use YOUR code multiple times on YOUR profile. One code can't be used multiple times by multiple users. Only one user can insert the code more than once with his profile. So yeah, you can ask your friend if you can use his code, but you'll get nothing from it.

Does anyone know if the codes are console specific? Someone gave me there code but i think he is on 360 and im on ps3 and when i put the code in its saying sorry code is invalid and if im certain it hasnt been used then contact customer supports

I do not have a code myself but i am sure that they ARE console specific. Because i have tried that with other games and it has not worked (specifically Smackdown Vs Raw Bret Hart code). I think these codes work in the way that any other DLC does, so when you use the PS3 you are still downloading your content from PSN not 2k directly even though you're doing it from the in game menu(same applies for 360). I hope this helps but then again you can always contact 2k customer support.

P.S. and hey, if the code doesn't work then i'd be happy to take it (Just PM me).
