It's not just bigs that have the problem, it's just more noticeable with them. Every player that progresses their rating in the offseason has their 3pt tendency go up.

I mentioned that.

It's very noticeable with other plays also because the FG% league wide is down, leading scorers shooting just under 40%

I can imagine the jack feast in played game, been thru that with choops

Why are those shooting tendencies "progressing" in the first place? Other than touches and overall shot tendency, what's the point?

I'm willing to bet it wasn't done on purpose, because mid, close, and inside don't progress.

Very true, i'll bet this is also what's causing the scoring averages to dip after a few years. Either that, or shot tendency is progressing too much, causing teams scoring to be spread around more.

Yea maybe they can patch it so that shot tendency and touch are the only tendencies that regress and progress.

Because in the long run having all tendencies move up and down could present problems

Hopefully Simballer is going over this thread. Its been stated association is his baby so maybe we can have a glimmer of hope. On second thought 2k did destroy 2k10 association with big men shooting 3s and didn't fix it that year. I just cannot understand why we didn't get a association fix. I wanna enjoy the game but I find myself editing, editing, editing, editing and more editing.

I haven't played a full game yet. I have been editing since release. While I'm editing I come across another problem or someone else comes across one. Then there is more editing. I wonder if it is extremely difficult for 2k to fix association problems or if they just don't care.

The first thing I do when I get my copy of nba 2k is sim up to 8 seasons. I see association problems within 15 minutes of having the game. 2k developed the game for over a year so you would think they would fix some problems their fans have a problem with. I understand if they dont implement certain features we may want in association but at least FIX IT.

2k a lot of us purchased this game for association at least you can have the decency to fix it. This whole thread is about fixes, edits and workarounds. I'm tired of fixes, edits and workarounds. Every mode has problems but we been bringing some of these problems to your attention for the longest. This year you added a few more problems. This thread is about the buyers of the game fixing the mode. How about the developer of the game fix it.

I just checked what jukeman said about big men 3 point tendency going up. Well what a surprise another problem. I simmed 1 season and some big guys 3 point tendency went up. A few guys increased by 13. This problem deserves its own thread. Dwight Howard for threeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Anyone else hate what they've done to the draft this year? Half the time you can't see the big board cause the cameras focused on the podium and you can't trade for picks that is pending. Also David Sterns draft spill is getting really old 5 yrs in why can't I skip it lol

lol thank god it's only once a year right? i know what you mean.. the funny thing is I can *totally* imagine David Stern doing the voiceover for this thing and just taking his time and like on the 80th take he's finally, "ok ok let's keep that one"

hahaha all the while we're sitting there going, "Shut up already!"

as for the draft.. it feels the same to me the only thing i really really miss are the "NBA comparisons" as that usually gave an idea of how the player played ie: my favorites (my favorites, not saying the best but I built my teams with these playstyles) last year were like
PG - JKidd
SG - Ray Allen/DWade
SF - Lebron
PF - no archetype but Amar'e's are good I found
C - haven't really found an archetype I liked but notable standouts were the Boguts and the very rare Shaq's

Howard at 26 and a 90+ OVR is pretty much done progressing...

Look at a younger guy with low ovr and a high pot rating..

It only went up 3 because he only progressed once, and probably progressed only a point or 2. Once players reach the age where they no longer progress, the tendency won't go up either. Why don't you show us say Greg Monroe's 3 tendency? Or how about Patrick Patterson's? What was the point of your post anyways? Did you think people were exaggerating?

Does anybody know how to fix the hotspots for a scorer when his mid range is 90 something but his hotspot is still cold
