That doesn't make sense. So if I want to run left, you're staying I have to run right first and then use turbo and run left? If that's what you're saying, yeah, I'm definitely done with this game. That's ridiculous. In real life if I want to run left, I run left, and if a defender bumps me and holds me like they are in this game, that's a foul.

I've got a video coming up in about 20 minutes...uploading. If a defender is on my left hip and I turbo from him, I should be able to get through easily. That's not the case and the video will demonstrate it. It also shows the auto post.

I've also tried using the RS to get around. That tends to make it worse since it's not just a simple running movement in a direction. Doesn't work.

This happens to me more than a few times a game. I can't lose that many possessions and expect to ever win in this game.

What im saying is if u want to go left run hard to the right,to set him up like your goin right. then come back hard to the left, its all about momentum this year. or just watch a game. you will see what i mean...

I like a bit of physicality. I like some bumping. I especially like getting bumped out of my route or whatnot, as it lends itself to realism. It makes for some awesome plays too. Getting knocked out of your spot or route, but jumping back in a bit off course and the passer picks up on it. Or even the opposite, when you get burned and force a turnover. I love it. I don't like this though. Posting up or coming to a standing stop leaning against my defender for a brief second is not only unrealistic, it kinda defies the laws of physics.

I only hope it can be fixed via patch or sliders, and more to the point, fix it without messing up anything else. The game is amazing right now despite it's flaws and I would hate to see magic sliding defenders again, or guys that guess where you're going by hopping to the spot all of the time.

You guys enjoy your game. Guess I'll go back to 2K11 and hope it lasts me another year and then cross my fingers again then.

Boge this is def an issue. Problem is its balance also. One they don't have enough animation coverage. But if you make it so everyone slides off the alley opps and off ball cheese will be impossible to stop.

There is a section specifically for moving WITHOUT the ball. Are you sure you did the entire training camp. Or am I just not comprehending what your saying

I agree about the court not being big enough. I could drive to the lane , kick the ball out to someone COMPLETELY open on the perimeter, and i can't even catch and shoot without someone getting in my face.

The player your in control of doesn't make his moves quick and decisively enough either. It almost seems like a little delayed and then he decides to go into this slow motion animation or something.

Those are (at least should be) mainly for wing players, when there's space to do them, and in the appropriate moments. If you look at the most recent video he posted stuff like that should never be happening. I will say that if he were a little more deliberate about running away from the defender even a half a step he probably could have avoided one of those bumps, but the contact relative to the positioning and where he was trying to go to is way too much. If the defender was riding his hip, and pushing him slightly off the spot that'd be far better because it'd be more realistic with respect to the situation, and at least he'd be getting somewhere.

Love the game and the physicality but this is one thing that annoys me a bit. Twice I have run through the lane and got a 3 sec call because I couldnt get off of the player I was stuck to. I even pushed the stick in the opposite direction away from him and still couldnt get off of him in time. For me its not so much the bumping but its when you get stuck to a player. Maybe there is some slider to get rid of this?

Same tired excuse i see people constantly reuse on here when people have a legit complaint about the game. "you just suck learn to play the game blah blah". It has nothing to do with being bad, or wanting it "easy" some things are just annoying and shouldn't be happening. They need to be fixed, people need to stop being sheep. I've had games where some of these overdone contact animations benefit me(the computer kept running into my player over and over and getting stuck in the paint and got a 3 second violation) and i got annoyed because it shouldn't be happening like that. If the only defense some of you have for the problems people are having for the game is something like "learn to play better" you really shouldn't be taken seriously. Just sayin'.
