Re: Jeremy Lin
Lin reminds me of Goran Dragic when he was in Phoenix in the 2009-10 season, Amare's last with the team and lost to LAL in the WCF. I remember Dragic scored 26 in 17 minutes to help sweep the Spurs in the playoffs. I'm getting off-topic (love Dragic) but back to Lin, I'd say Lin is playing like Dragic is when he's having a good night. He'll get you 15, 4, and 5 on those good nights.
I would base his ratings off of Dragic and then bump up a few ratings for his play over the past few games. Don't get me wrong, he has been crazy in those games and we'll see what happens the rest of the season but I'm rootin' for him.
I was rooting like hell for Dragic too.
Even a 70-73 I couldn't understand. You can't just throw out random numbers, at least compare him to other PG's if you are going to do thatUpdates on Twitter: 2KstauffComment

Re: Jeremy Lin
I am a huge Knick fan and I think people are hyping him up wayyy too much. I would say right now a 65-70 max for ratings. You have to keep in mind, his 3 games were against the Nets,Jazz, and Wizards. Now if he can put those numbers up against the Lakers and T-Wolvesthen I think the Knicks found a diamond in the rough.Comment

Re: Jeremy Lin
Then, I'm not really sure why you added sequentials if you were just being random. Also you wrote 9/17 and 53% for the "first game", not 9/14 and 64%.Comment

Re: Jeremy Lin
So you don't want to aren't hating and don't want to raise him too much after 3 games but you think he should be about 20 overall points higher.
This statement comes off a bit of a contradiction to me. As good as these past three games have been, you put him in the same category as Kyrie Irving with that rating. Even Rubio. I just don't understand how this could possibly make sense after 3 games.

Check out how the point guard did in both box scores vs the Wizards and compare them.Comment

Re: Jeremy Lin
I'd wait to see what he does the rest of the year. As with every player, there will be gradual improvements in roster updates if he does well, then next year will be the definitive rating. When Melo and Amare get back, I see him getting like 12-15 ppg and 7-9 ast, which is still great and exactly what NY needs. Most importantly, he'll make the offense resemble what its supposed to be.Last edited by Slava Medvadenko; 02-10-2012, 01:14 AM.Comment

Re: Jeremy Lin
You said "duh Im gonna raise him". I wasn't arguing with that. You said that you didnt want to do anything drastic but you think he should be in the 75-77 range. He is currently a 56. In what way is that not drastic.
I am not even going to get into 80+ argument.Updates on Twitter: 2KstauffComment

Re: Jeremy Lin
Lol... It is very easy to get 20 and 8 games in NBA 2K12 with the right minutes
