Do u go deep in association?

I was just wondering how many of y'all go deep into association? The deepest I have went in my 3 2k years was 2.5 seasons last year. I just can't play too deep because after a while it starts to feel unreal , like i'm playing NCAA 12 dynasty without real name rosters. I just feel like I'm not playing with real NBA players after while with some older notables retiring and all these computer generated rookies. I like my association to be composed of players mostly from the current season.

That and, more importantly, I get bored easy playing with the same team lol.

I also get bored easily. All of the damn fake players completely murks the experience. Same with MyPlayer but to a lesser extent.

I think the most I've ever completed was 4 seasons, on 2K11. By that time there were way too many CAPs in the league.

pretty much the same. I also had to restart my association 2 times when a better roster and later the PC patch came out.

That about sums it up for me. The first season always feels legit. Then the more I begin to stray from my team's original roster, the more of a stretch it tends to become (and thus becoming less fun). After playing an entire first season in 2K11, I lost interest at the beginning of my second season with the likes of Kenyon Martin, Shane Battier and a weird Jared Sullinger on my Pistons.

2 Full seasons is the most I can deal with. The constant random and dumb trades by the cpu and bad Free agent AI make it hard to go any further

I usually don't even play a game until I've simulated at least four years in. Unlike many, I enjoy it more when there is a heavy dose of fictional players mixed in there. I guess everyone is different though.

I usually simulate and play certain games, but what keeps me playing deeper in the association is I make a fictional draft class with me and some friends as caps just to see where we go and how good we become in later years. I stop playing games after awhile do to the fact that the commentary stops being unique since created players don't have any story-lines to them and they aren't really recognized by the game in the same manner as real players. The starting line-up tends to omit the commentators from saying there names. You can have a league leader in scoring (created player) and if a real player is up there when they bring the stat-line up in the game they will only comment on the real player and won't even acknowledge the created player. I think if they put more effort into trying to figure out a way to make created players have unique story-lines and acknowledge them in the same manner as real players then association mode won't be so dry later on.

I'm in my fifth season, i sim a lot cause i like seeing players progress and teams change. No way i'd be able to play every/most games in 82 game season.

I play a lot of seasons, but sometimes I do a lot of simming.
