I am a fan of Jordan, but I am also realistic. With that being said, most of those videos show his supreme athletic advantage that he simply wouldn't have in today's game. Who knows what would happen if he played today? We don't. To say or imply otherwise is simply foolish. I don't doubt for one second Jordan would have risen to greatness in today's game, but we can never truly know.

I love the game and the history that lies within, but I laugh how so many Jordan fans (the older guys) simply pass over other greats before Jordan's time as if they didn't exist. What about the Big O? Let me guess, the Big O had an unprecedented athletic ability in comparison to the league in which he played... Hello, Jordan did too. What about the other champions for that matter? Russell anyone? To say Jordan is the best ever is no different than saying Bias was a better prospect who would have surpassed Jordan's greatness. PURE SPECULATION! I wish we could all just learn to respect the players and the era they transcended.

I laugh at those who try to downplay Jordan. Thing is, many who say Jordan is the GOAT are those who DID watch Oscar, Wilt, Russell and guys of that era.

You do know that one of the years of his comeback in 00's, he averaged 25 ppg after the all-star break when he was 39-40. Prime Jordan would be great in any era, like most of the all time great basketball players.

Okay If you want to debate jordan go to the basketball section. If you want to dumb down jordan edit him. Simple as that no need for this thread, but just to complain. Obviously you own the game so tweak it.

I was gonna say the same thing, but I think the OP is also complaining about MJ being a beast online and gamers cheesing with him.

He should have clarified. But even still the complaining is so stupid now a days. If you complained on here it was usually valid.

Jordan was the best player in basketball, but not some sort of god.

Jordan's 3 is a joke in this game, no 70 is not good enough when consistency is a 99 with the easiest release point in the game. It should be closer to a 65, his only decent years as a 3 point shooter was when they moved the line in 3 feet, his years at NBA distance were sub par.

I watched Jordan all the time growing up, who didn't have WGN, and he did not play in the way that you see him used online.
Nobody plays the way that you see online. He wasn't unstoppable, I remember he quit to play baseball instead of winning 8 straight championships. Then he played for the Wizards.

Ok, everyone in this thread seems to be missing the point of the thread. What I am talking about is not how good jordan was, or how his strengths compare to other players. I am talking about 1 particular circumstance, that I feel is unrealistic. People who want to debate how good jordan is, make a new thread. What I want to discuss is the ease with which guards, especially jordan, score from the inside while at a stand still. Again, I repeat, this is not a debate on how good jordan was, how good his legacy is, or any of that. I would just like to point out that Guards score to easily from a standstill in the paint. That is all.
I repeat, this is not a Jordan legacy or talent thread. This is a suggestion that guard standstill scoring in the paint is unrealistic. If you want to talk about that, then go ahead. But please, no more Jordan talk unless it is about this specific occurrence.
