Omer Asik still only 55 OVR with a Post Defense rating of C. Thats ridicilous.
Noah has a Post D rating of A and Asik may very well be a better defender than Noah.

Gotta disagree with you on this Will. There is no excuse for not having the rookies ready to go. Its safe to assume that 90% of those rookies were going to sign on day 1.

Understandable on that front. That said, the rookies are on the disc, ready to go. They just can't have them on the roster update til it goes through the leagues office, like Sim stated earlier.

Granted, if they didn't already have them on the disc (black arms until they get assigned their png on the roster), then I'd say, yeah, that's something that they could do. But they did the work on that before the disc shipped, and just had to "activate" them. But they can't "activate" them until the league does their thing and gives them the green light, per the memo.

so according to Ronnie's twitter we're getting another update in less than 48 hrs,he said again all 30 rookies or so won't make it but some of them will be added ^^

Yup PA announcer says metta world peace but Clark Steve and Kevin say artest

i'd rather them say Artest so i still have a clue who they are talking about. This whole Metta World Peace thing is ridiculous and Artest needs to stop taking crazy pills and be who he really is.

But as for the update, doesn't mean much to me. As long as they have another roster update before opening day i'm fine.

Man u guys r tough. Listen there r rules financially that the 2k company has to follow to avoid law suits from the nba or nbapa so the cautious approach is to wait for nba approval to add jersey's, players, etc. To go one further the bigger issue in my opinion is the fact that nba was locked out and this has caused issues every where, even in the video game world. I am greatful that they r even updating the rosters. I remember when nba live 95 came out and the game didn't have the majority of the rookies and that was the year grant hill and jason kidd came in to the league but we were stuck playing with number 99 B.J. Tyler on the sixers but they did have eddie jones.

My advice to 2k would be to stop trying to increase the sales by making these preconceived announcements until the product is ready. Be more detailed in your announcements. Don't tell us there is a roster update that is coming that will include kyrie and other rookies that signed because some of us understands what that means but others u have to be more detailed.... Communication is key to keeping the peace between 2k and the loyal 2k community....

whats the most crap about all this is the fact 2k is never honest about anything and ill give it to EA on these boards they dont feed you complete crap an dates. Seriously these rookies should have been ready to go and they were not and there is no excuse for that. They didnt even make changes to thing team colors like white shoes for the bulls or even worse adding rip to the bulls which was done before mike bibby signed

seriously? EA is awful with these things just ask anyone who bought NCAA Football and had to wait on patches and tuners that never came. Amazing how quickly people forget things or ignore them to fit their arguements.

They willl be if the get injured or when their contract in China or who-knows-where runs out.

well time is flying quick,in 10 years maybe we will be able to get every little thing u can imagine via update so that's not a valid statement,I played nba live 2000 and yeah there were no updates but this is some different time and some different standards have been set up ^^

Well, this update was pretty much garbage. Shame on you 2k. I DO NOT expect them to add rookies who haven't signed deals yet, but for the love of god, where the hell are the rest of the rookies who signed deals? GARBAGE. It wasn't EVEN out by the end of the weekend.

I've got plenty of other things to do in the meantime, I'm not mad about that, I'm pissed that 2k promises one thing and then does another. They should have had all transactions/rookies who have signed up to this point.

BTW, I/Any user here could do -most- of what they have to do in 15 mins MAXIMUM. If they already have the rookies supposedly on the disc, then it's just a matter of adding them to the respective teams, and trading/assigning players is very quick. So don't try to respond to me with that "Do you expect them to do at all at once!?!?!?" stuff.
