I disagree with that statement completely. Im going out on a limb here in saying a large percentage of the people who are part of the OS community are just like myself.. Sports gamers who demand the highest degree of realism. I am a Cavaliers fan for instance, so you would think that this update today would be enough for me, right? Wrong. I can't start my Association until all the rookies are properly added because I will constantly be going to the "Rookie Report" and seeing K. Irving at the top with essentially no competition!

There are many misconceptions about the insider. Unfortunately I can't say anything about it but all that you hear is not entirely true. Hence the rage on the boards every-time he messes something up. LOL

The rage in this thread is mainly 2k's doing. Your just seeing bubbled over frustration from the lack of crew and the poor online performance early as well as the lack of other online features.

These users are trying desperately to still get into the game but 2k manages to thwart them at ever turn. Including a roster update that was overhyped and completely under-delivered.

So guys who would normally be patient are already on edge with the company. As such even something that appears small to others has the straw that broke the camels back potential for some of the faithful 2k gamers.

There could have been a litany of reasons why the update is so limited most of which could have nothing to do with how difficult or simple it is to update the roster.

The roster is connected to every single other part of the game. As such it has massive potential to cause a clusterbomb if not done correctly. Especially adding assets that were not in game when it shipped.

However since some roster editors are able to hack the game and get things done without the game crashing it is easier for some to belittle the efforts of the guys at 2k.

So again 2k has brought this on themselves. But in the proper context it is not that bad. But in a general context including all the tweets and subsequent fail... It's becoming typical "2K" behavior. Which is not winning them any fans.

Why is everyone getting so upset? This is the first roster update. If this were Christmas Day I could understand. Some of you are overreacting. It's going to take a little while to get the rosters right, besides, the rosters are going to change drastically on a daily basis between now and Christmas .

What we are seeing in the NBA is unprecedented. I don't think realistically 2K Sports can keep up with all the player movement. I'm not defending them, but we have to be patient. It's actually our lack of patience that caused these guys to release a roster update this early in the first place. I want the new rosters just as bad as anyone. I'm a roster freak. But between now and Christmas NBA rosters are going to change so much that today's roster update won't even matter anyways. And seriously, people are upset that trades weren't reflected in the update? For crying out loud, move Odom yourself lol.

I guess I'm just happy to get any kind of update. The lockout wasn't 2K's fault. I'm trying to be patient because I know if we keep expecting accurate rosters every day we are going to force them to release updates that aren't ready and will probably be glitched or half-done. I'm sure rookies will be added and trades will be reflected in the next few updates. It's going to take a little while.

I totally agree bro..iam a roster freak as well..and we kno how 2k is already but they could of did better with the 1st update..i mean tha game came out 3 months now.and we had a have *** gm..so u figure they would b a lil on point. 4 rookies com on..lolololol..bibby and shumpert signed the same day but only bibby is on the knicks..jus stuff like tht should of been better..and yea u can def. jus move lamar urself..but not everybody plays the cpu..most people play humans online..so moving lamar if u play online makes no sense..maybe everyday from now we will get a roster update

i think it would at least be fair if ronnie would adress this situation and what we can expect in the future on twitter...he was a coward last night and deleted that one tweet so i think its fair to say he has some major explaining to do.

Didn't expect them to be 100% correct, just happy I can play online with an atleast 75% percent correct roster. Id be angry if it was christmas but as others were saying this mess should be fixed by end of week no worries.

I understand some people are ok with partial updates, but I for one am waiting till all the rookies are added to the game.

I don't mind making my own trades and signings, but I want the rosters that should have been set from day 1 (I understand, NBA Lockout caused that)

It does suck. Don't get me wrong. I was really looking forward to the update. I'm wondering if maybe they just threw this update together at the last minute because the one they were working on was glitched or something? I think if they didn't release something by today people would be really mad lol. I'm hoping this update was just to get us by until the real update is released in the next few days.

The fair weather fans get a 30 dollar game... the real fans get jerked around at every op

if they want EA to have a chance to come back.... they have done so... they are turning off there fanbase...

People around me dont even have the game anymore... they turned it in and got that money back...

hate to say it, but 2k has dropped the ball... it had a chance to takeover and it completely dropped the ball... every thing that I came to expect since last year has not been the case this year...

I feel cheated..
