You have the power to remove the disc. You don't need to tell us about it.

So update it yourself and then you wont have any reason to complain

Well in a perfect world there wouldn't have been a lockout and 2k could have had everything ready to roll from day 1. Thing is if they come out with one update, people will complain a deal made the night before isn't there, or complain a gameplay patch wasn't released and so on, never seen a game release where there weren't perfectionist complaining.

I pretty much play the association 99.999% of the time in all past version of NBA 2k, I decided to try my player for basically the first time and am wondering why I never did this before! Plenty of modes to keep me busy until the grizzlies roster is updated and I can start my association.

OK well I understand what your saying about everyone complaining about every update. I totally agree. If they were smart they would of just did 1 opening day update. Instead of wasting time on 5 updates that were garbage before then. I'm not arguing with you guys anymore. I've seen plenty of post of people complaining about worse things and yall dont jump on them. So, sorry for affending you.

Ok so then trade it in and buy 2K11 and be happy. No need for your soap box speech on how you are going to trade the game in. Nobody cares if you do or don't

Where on the box does it say they are being paid to provide up to the second roster updates.

I see nothing that says that on the box. The updated rosters are a service they provide to keep the game fresh. But they do not have to provide rosters up to date if they do not care to. They released the game as is and tell you that there will be roster updates which they have done plenty of time

To come here and say tomorrow you are trading the game in if no update is childish. Get a grip, they will release it when they do and if you will die by waiting a few days then you should really not even bother buying the game.

Actually 2k pretty much lied to us all and you all know it.

The thing is, we're not ENTITLED to updated rosters. All our money gets us is a video game with all 30 NBA teams & logos, and the names & likenesses of the people in the NBAPA and the NBA coaches association.

Any updates to add missing people, move folks around, or re-rate people, is icing on the cake. You didn't pay for that, you paid for whatever is on the disc.

                        Stop substituting entitlement for disappointment.

We are entitled to launch rosters however as they are the very foundation of all sports games and we technically never received them for 2k12 due to circumstances outside of 2K's control. They did promised they would deliver the rosters after the fact.

With that said though roster updates are kinda the standard for sports games now they are actually a huge feature at this point so I consider that part of our 60 bucks.
