how many people would of bought the game(knowing of the lockout)if they were'nt going to get updated rosters.

Well technically, the game released when there was a lockout, so we didn't know if we were getting updated rosters. So I'd say just about every person who bought it before the lockout was lifted, especially the guys who come here for the sim rosters and what not.

The thing is, we're not ENTITLED to updated rosters. All our money gets us is a video game with all 30 NBA teams & logos, and the names & likenesses of the people in the NBAPA and the NBA coaches association.

Any updates to add missing people, move folks around, or re-rate people, is icing on the cake. You didn't pay for that, you paid for whatever is on the disc.

Stop substituting entitlement for disappointment.

I respectively disagree. When they tamper with the ratings due to injuries or suspensions thus making some players unplayable (Bynum) they have in essence decided to change the game we purchased. Fix these on a timely basis or do not touch.

Not quite sure where you got that idea.........they advertised "living rosters" and advertised up to date player movement. People have a right to wonder why a key player like Andrew Bynnum has been "inactive" for over two weeks in 2K whilst in reality he's playing his 4th game back tonight.

I know a lot of fellas here feel they need to "defend 2K" on just about every point and a lot of fellas here are friends with the team...hell, I like the 2K guys a lot...but you are going way, way too far saying people don't pay for updated rosters. It's a marketed feature man.

whatcha talking bout big baby glen davis it is out.. it worked when i searched for an online match then went back to the main menu, then i started up a new association that didn't work so i backed out went to the 2k rosters and cycled through and saw the non 1st round picks.. i'm not sure about all the other guys you were talking about but all the other drafted/undrafted guys are there now.. idk you just gotta wait for it to update.

This Roster update seems like a New/Midnight release for me. My Lakers Assc is only hours away. Bynum oh how Kobe/Co have missed you
