Any word on a roster update? (Update - Within the next 48 hours)

I for one, can't wait to see what EA does with their game. If they did scrap the whole elite project and took the 2-3 years to build on Live 10 I can't imagine how good that game will be. Maybe it will push 2k13 to be even better, I just dont think I should have to be looking forward to next years game already. As for 2k12 I'm hoping to see some updates before Monday or else I'll just download a 2kshare roster and go from there.

The thing is, we're not ENTITLED to updated rosters. All our money gets us is a video game with all 30 NBA teams & logos, and the names & likenesses of the people in the NBAPA and the NBA coaches association.

Any updates to add missing people, move folks around, or re-rate people, is icing on the cake. You didn't pay for that, you paid for whatever is on the disc.

Stop substituting entitlement for disappointment.

This is exactly what I'm thinking it is very true. Most people posting are just whining and will never be satisfied,but what we did not pay for is a game that is seriously lagging in frame rate and very choppy at times,they should inform people that this game will consistently lag at times before people pay 65 bucks and find out later, now that is just wrong and false advertising.

What do you mean we didn't pay for updates? That was one of 2K's selling points during their add campaign with game producers saying that they were able to not only update rosters but also add art. As costumers we should be rewarded for the 3 months the 2k team had without updating content. I expect to see major changes with rosters and art to players that change appearance.

Co-sign. There's no reason for such a long wait for what 2k advertised to us from day 1. I would much rather have the correct rosters in the game than "nba legends" like Adrian dantley and other players in the legends showcase that no one cares about.

Yeah, if your going to advertise something in your game as a main selling point, it's kind of expected that you actually follow through. So far, it's been awful.
