Hopefully I'm wrong but I think there's a fair chance we won't get the roster update within the 48 hours. 2K just doesn't seem quite as concerned about support and keeping the game up to date this year. Yes, the rapid turnaround before the season started was nice, but it almost seems like it ended up being, "Oh well, we missed opening day. might as well take our sweet time with the rest of the 40 missing players. Oh has it been two weeks already?".

Re: Any word on a roster update? (Update - Within the next 48 hours)
LD2K said it should be here in the next 24 hours, at 2PM YESTERDAY (i'm guessing 12AM pacific time). That gives 2K until about 12 AM PAcific today to get it out, meaning they have about 9 hours and 30 minutes to meet THEIR deadline.
I know updates usually drop around the 2:00-2:30 Pacific time, but they never mentioned it dropping at that time so I don't have a reason to believe it will. I'm just hoping it drops by the time I wake up, or at least when I come back from a long day out.Comment

smhh I know but I always try to be a little bit optimistic because one modder told me it took about an hour to unlock all rookies with proper arms and everything...so I assume it's not that big deal ^^Comment

Re: Any word on a roster update? (Update - Within the next 48 hours)
I find it simply amazing that alot of people are waiting so intently on an update to have correct rosters (myself included). I just hope 2K do a decent job since I personally haven't even started my player or association.
Does anyone think that the people at 2k really though that the lockpick would result in a lost season? Or did the condensed and topsy turn last month really throw them? Or are they just content to work at their own pace?
Whatever the reasons I just hope they produce some good results for the upcoming updates. I wonder if 2k are just taking it easy since they have a virtual monopoly for console basketball games.Comment

Again, hypothetically speaking, but some of those changes aren't out of the question.Comment
