Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
Atlanta will almost certainly not win a title with the core they have now. If they were to rebuild, I was thinking that Smith could go to Orlando in a trade like the proposed Gerald Wallace trade (http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/in...lace-trad.html). Dwight would go to NJ, Orlando would get Lopez and Smith, and Atlanta would get multiple draft picks. You could also send some picks to Orlando and role players to Atlanta and/or Orlando. If Atlanta is looking to rebuild, a similar trade could work. Orlando might not think they are getting enough for Howard. I don't know. Does anyone think this or something similar could work?Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
I'm trying to figure out the trade logic for draft picks.
Like the Sixers have the grizz 2nd round pick. How would I trade it to them if they aren't receiving anything back? I tried signing a D-League player, but you can't trade them for 30 days.PSN: bhzmafia14Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
So how do I go about doing this in my association?
The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed All-Star point guard Russell Westbrook to a multiyear contract extension.
Still trying to get the hang of this. Can someone explain exactly how to do an extension like this?Comment

Ok regarding the Hawks, here's best deal I was able to come up with:
Hawks receive: Kris Humphries, Okur, Morrow, Nets 1st (unprotected) and Houston's 1st rounder
Nets receive: Chris Duhon, Marvin Williams, Jannero Pargo, and Marvin Williams
Magic receive: Brook Lopez, Josh Smith, Nets 2014 1st rounder (top 10 protected), Hawks 1st rounder (top 14 protected, 12, 10, 8, unprotectedComment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
I think the guide should add that you should edit tendencies and ratings to people who progressed at the start of every season. Big men mid and three tendencies get messed up a lot, and if someone is using this roster, then they need to edit touches also. The free throw rating also should be edited, as many players progress at this at the same pace as other attributes, which leads to unreasonably high FT% after a while. Shot ratings could also be edited for players who already have a jumpshot and are still progressing, and could be "redistrubted" to things like awareness. Some guys get ridiculously good shooting ratings when they shouldn't.Proud Clippers fanComment

Yeah, I go through after every season and literally rerate and redo every guy. It's VERY tedious but I can't go into a season with the whacked out rosters that 2k's progression system causes. It's actually kind of fun because you can decide who really turns out to be a star and who's a bust etc. etc. Also got to factor in regression for older players. Although you can decide the certain few who are lucky enough to pass father time off longer then most.Comment
