Agree with alexthegreat, if they are creating actual player models for missing players than I cant be mad at 2k for not having the missing guys ready. The rotations, injuries, and ratings should be up to date though. 2k will never be able to please everyone with their rosters but they can do a lot better than this, heck the rosters they put out in years past were better.

we all want whats best for us fans of 2k to give us a great product with great feedback but they fall short in areas as always 2k should hire me to the crew cause when i do my roster edits i can do it in a days time and enjoy doing it cause i want my game to be as accurate as possible we all agree too many block shots and steals in the game with computer god like defense with pgs blocking centers dunk attempts and on and on with a things we could point out i agree and disagree with alot of ratings and so for lowry could've stayed at a 84 in 3pts but any who think he doesn't deserve his overall rating really haven't seen his stats or overall play, rubio 85 in 3pts could have been 80 to 83 who cares 40% in 3pts is 40% u can't argue about kobe 3pt rating then be mad at a guy shooting good in 3pts when other ratings like pull jumpers, stepback jumpers, consistency ratings play in to all that but rubio is playing great and deserves some but not all ratings he got 2k needs to get all the rookies in cause if its try they were on the disc already then they are really slacking no excuses there monroe still a 65 is a joke 17pts over 9 rebs a game get real like kevin love should be higher than a 82 when u put 25pts and 14rebs a game and lost weight 30 to 40 lbs means u should move faster 2k ratings have one common flaw in the game players speed ratings are wrong across the board along with vertical ratings and steals ratings 0.9 stls in 20mins a game shouldn't be a 48 rating when a guy plays 30 mins gets a 71 with a 0.7 stls see lou williams to prove my point but i can go on for days but yal get what what im sayin 2k look me up if yal need help, mullens over 12pts and 5 rebs a game 57 rating what a joke i never seen guys with 62 to 65 ratings averaging double figures in pts rate lower than guys with 66 to 69 ratings who don't avg 4pts but with better overals ratings, 2k get it together, i mean bargs 20+ pts and 5 rebs gets a 68 rating when maxiell gets a 70 rating, lolllllllllllllll.

he took 3 games off himself because he knows he is playing like crap, why does insider ignore this or he is getting the kobe treatment.

His mid range rating shouldn't drop. He is shooting the exact same percentage that he did last season. His close or inside could drop a couple though. The 3 to 9 feet is the area where his percentage has really dropped.

He isn't the best mid range shooter anymore. At least at the moment.

That really doesn't matter. We rate a player based on what they do/did. You don't lower a guys rating for doing the same exact thing he did the year before. What you do is give the guys who are shooting better a boost.

You lower him if he is overrated, as I said there are better mid range shooters than him right now and Dirk is rated +15 or 20 points than them, does that make sense?.

Dirk just got pretty overrated just because he won the championship. That's a fact

Ok first that is not a fact that is your opnion.

Second ratings are determined based on a formula. For instance in the past 2K's formula for shot ratings from 3 was take the player percentage and add 45. When you are using a formula based system you put the numbers in and go by what comes out. Last season Dirk shot an amazing 52 percent from mid range. He is shooting the exact same percentage this year. There is no way you can justify a drop especially when you are using a math based formula. Again you don't lower him you raise the guys shooting better.

Lastly one thing you need to undertand is sample size. 15 games worth of data is not enough to override 82 games worth that the default ratings was based off of. So yes i can agree with giving guys who are shooting greatly a boost but no you don't lower a guy for doing the same or instantly jump guys ahead of him for just 15 games worth of work. If we did it your way then Marreese Speights would be a 99 from mid range right now and Corey Brewer would be a 99 3pt rating right now. Now do either of those ratings make any kind of sense to you??
