This is off the top of my head at work. I would try to get someone like danny granger. I think those two in a straight up trade would be fair. And he could be your next star. The only issue is i dont know if pacers can use him. Tt can play 3, so i think he would be fair.
I would also try to get oj mayo. That would be a trade grizz need. With zach out for a long time tt can step in and help them a lot. When he returns, tt can be a good 6 man.Comment

Agreed.
As for trade ideas for Tyrus, it's tough without knowing the current state of your team with the Bobcats. Do you have DJ still do you have Diaw still etc. I'd think bout playing Davis at the 5 and Kemba at PG obviously and going from there with whatever you have.Comment

Re: Small Time Trades in Association
I'm at the trade deadline and struggling to think of the little trades. I've moved Calderson to LAL (wanted to move Sessions there but forgot) I've also made some big splash trades and some small ones here or there, but I'm still struggling to pull off others ones without feeling cheap or something.

Re: Small Time Trades in Association
For a few reasons, granger is good but he is past his prime. The pacers are wanting to put paul george at 3 and trade granger. By getting rid of him they can do this. Tyrius thomas a backup???? Are r crazy, first off he is three stars or more in 2k. And by second year a 77 and will improve. When i use him he is around. 20ppg scorer with good rebounds and blocks, and steals.
He is easily a sixth man of the year candidate for pacers. He will also continue to improve. Will granger no. Also pacers are looking for talent and he fits in perfect.
Go look what he does for thr cats. U are crazyComment

Re: Small Time Trades in Association
the thing about the Biedrins/Wright for Salmons/Hayes trade that doesn't make sense to me is that its inconsiquentual. You're just swapping bad contracts and almost no upgrade at any position.
To me a trade should makes sense to both teams. Get rid of a bad contract, swap a defensive wing player for a rebounder, things of that nature.
By comparison:
Wright: 3 pt. marksman, gives you minmal defense.
Biedrins: Rebounder, decent defender, poor to no offense.
Salmons: 3 pt. threat, decent inside/outside offense, slow defender.
Hayes: Great rebounder and defensive player, but 6'6" and not Barkley on offense.
Sure, it is a video game, but if you're trying to take into account real life scenarios you might as well take into account all of the factors.
Im not critisizing the op's desire to run his association the way he wants, you paid your $60 just like everyone else.Comment

Re: Small Time Trades in Association
AGREED!
And can we take a step back from the STAR ratings that 2K gives out? Seriously, Daniel Orton, that stellar second year big man behind Dwight Howard was a 4 star 50 overall. My friend traded him and a 1st rnd pick for Kevin Love! The guy can't even walk and chew gum at the same time.
Alls i am trying to say is waver on the side of logic rather than what is stated.Comment

Re: Small Time Trades in Association
Sure he is slumping in real life right now, but he has the potential, especially in the game, to be a great scorer, inside and out.
I know they have plans for paul george, but that probably why they have him playing SG. And yeah, tyrus thomas is a good player and a 6th man of the year candidate on indy, but i'd rather leave george in that role and play him at the 2, 3, and 4. guy is 6'10" for god's sake.Comment
