Could it be a slider thing? Because honestly I kind of wish I saw more of this in the games I play.

I mean it seems a little nit-picky of you. It's strange how people expect video games to be like reality. I mean playing double dribble I never expected the players to move realistically. It's a game. Learn what happens, and strategize accordingly.

Pure genius right here. I was starting to think no one like this existed on OS forums.

        Love this thread.
I hate how in 2K the CPU has all this God Mode powers over you and it comes to a point where defending tight is useless because the CPU makes basket at will and it'll be like your not even there defending.

They are invincible compared to the miserable ol' me who sometimes can make wide open 3s but the CPU can automatically make any bucket.

I made a new video talking a bit more about this. I actually talk in this one too to explain things more thoroughly (I posted this video in the wishlist tread as well). I finally upgraded to a flatscreen monitor too, so enjoy the improved video quality.

that first one is the unblockable layup animation i see from time to time. Even if lebron made contact with ball it would ghost through his hand and go in. Good vids i am sending them to 2k and i know LDK will see it also. Playing defense with hands up in the paint makes you invisible when offensive players tries spin layup or hop steps. The contact from 2k11 should have returned. I dont know how they let simple mechanics like this get by before shipping the game.

Here's another video I just made. Here I go a little deeper into what causes the lack of contact on certain dunks, and I discuss some other non-contact scenarios.

Although the development team guys don't interact with us here that much anymore, they are usually fully cognizant of any major gameplay flaws in a given year. No one should be mincing words, or trying to couch this issue into some relativistic framework. This is really, really bad, and hopefully this is one of the things that they spent a lot of the gameplay development man-hours working on in this cycle.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Even with all the ill feelings I feel towards them after the misinformation their marketing gave us with 2k13 (especially with online), I'm pretty confident this is on their radar purely from all the videos you guys posted.

                      Great job everyone

It doesn't look that way judging by the okc vs spurs video

@teebone21 don't worry about it. VERY early build. We'll get it cleaned up before ship.

What exactly are they addressing online? The online servers, online code, online gameplay, online modes such as: online association, team-up, adding back crew mode? Thats pretty vague. It would be great to hear some specifics on this.
