If u have the ball in your right hand, an u press lt an left on the stick he will do a behind the back stationary cross dribble. But if u have it in the right hand an u press lt an right on the stick, that's when u get the slow in an out dribble.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=HuHaBm0EWuw if you have a few minutes watch this. watch it close then incorporate it into the game. i allways feel if you can play in real life you can play in2k. but practice makes perfect in anything in life. thats really all i can say. by the way 2k did hardaway a horrible injustice with this game lol. watch how good he was.

          Pretty cool video.

I revisited this thread after seeing it had so many replies, and read through some of the posts, and now I see what you were talking about. I've never really been able to pick someone apart off the sizeup. I'll do some moves and see the defensive player react, but don't feel as if I'm quick enough to pick up on it.

But after watching the videos and reading the posts about consecutive flicks and pressure sensitive directions and seeing in your videos how the guy just freezes sometimes, I think I get it now. The video you posted against the Pistons where you just left Stuckey, I think it was, was unreal. I've never seen that before in this game. Made me realize how many nuances this game has. Definitely gonna have to practice these moves and coordinating the left and right sticks together to see how they work.

Appreciate the work. Hopefully you can get that PVR soon to teach what you know. I'm more of a visual learner, so it's nice to vids of what you did in action.

Yes, you are right. sorry for the confusion. It's right hand and flick to the right hold L2. I wish kobe had a faster in and out size up move, but it does works.

ok if your in the 2k cam and you press up, thats a forward sizeup. o.k

now if you press left and the ball is in your right hand, you will do a in and out. the stick is your ball hand , if you move the ball to your left hand while your right hand is empty that's a cross animation. you can go left to right..... right to left for a hour if you want. so long as you keep the movement in correlation to where you want the ball to go. if the ball is in your left hand and you move the stick left you will do a in and out. ill do a video on control right now. THIS IS THE LAST ONE GUYS UNTILL PVR. PLEASE GO BACK AND REREAD MY THREAD. THANKS TO YOU ALL. THERE IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT LEFT TO RIGHT FAKE IF I WANTED TO DO IT AT A LEVEL 2. THIS IS JUST SHOWING CONTROL.

There is one video where you have Drose doin a sizeup where he goes behind his back twice in a row. How do you do that bc his package only gets the behind the back after a cross. How did you eliminate the first part, the cross?

Guys use young Kobe using irons techniques. It's so fun with him. I have a vid on my xbox that shows total control. If I knew a easy way to share it I would

you have to go into the edit player menu see all the different moves as i have explained and you'll see them. it took me 3 months to master these. just practice mix the ,moves up and you will be a pro sooner then later. you have to walk before you can run brother. anytime i can help you let me know.

I know how to do the move but how did you do it back to back with no cross? Did you edit his dribble moves? Also I would love a detailed description on how the escape dribbles work? I can break the bump animation with them but then he auto pauses bringing the d back to him. I am getting to the rim at will now but that technique I dnt get.

I just do a circular motion with my left stick from the side he is going to to the oposite side.

Re: EXPLAINING THE DIFFERENT LEVELS OF SIZEUPS

Got a few minutes in freestyle practice mode before running some errands and was able to pull off some nice moves. Can't wait to try them against an actual defender. A question though...

When I cracked open my moves manual, it said size ups are done from a standing dribble. I tried it and only got those crossovers where you don't really go any where. Ah man, why is this not looking like ironwork?! I'm thinking maybe I have to get the ball handler moving to do the good moves, but holding LT while moving is just isomotion. Ah man! But I got the ball handler moving a bit, then used the size ups. Wallah! I got Melo looking like AI vs MJ.

My question though is why am I able to do size ups, moving, holding LT? Shouldn't those have resulting in regular isomotion moves? I got it to work, but couldn't tell what I was doing differently. Is it feathering the stick?

Since I had this game I've been trying to spin off the bump & haven't been able to. Are you able to do that at will?
