Anybody know what is the different control for executing a spin vs behind the back since the Left Trigger modifier is no longer used for special iso moves?

I'm looking for improvement in the following areas. Anything less is unacceptable.
#1 AI. The Artificial Intelligence 'opponent' should RUN PLAYS, not just stand there continuously dribbling.
#2 Better play-calling ability. The play-calling in 2K12 is sllooowwwww, and clunky. 3-point plays should be easy to find, and easy to run. Pick and roll plays should work the right way.
#3 Attributes evident in players. When on the fast break the faster players should be at the other end of the court first. Players without the ball should be able to run faster than those dribbling. Some players SHOULD be able to steal the ball in the backcourt, not continuously get called for ticky-tack fouls when hounding the ball-handler.
#4 better separation on the court. 2k12 just feels crowded. The players move around like they're in a crowded disco club.Comment

Glad they added more diversity to the dribble moves. Hopefully they don't change the post offense controls too much, seeing how it took a long time to master all the post moves.
And, for the love of humanity, why can't 2K ever get the accessories right? Even in the first teaser I noticed Blake doesn't have an arm sleeve or knee pads (like this: http://www2.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Blake+Griffin+Los+Angeles+Clippers+v+Memphis+G4hzV u4ovt-l.jpg), and Durant's knee sleeves are the wrong style and color (should look like this: http://blog.newsok.com/bamsblog/files/2012/04/kevin-durant-dunk-playoffs-2012-sarah-phipps-photo.jpg).
I know these are minor issues to a lot of people, but if a sport game cstrives to be realistic, don't you think the players should look like they do on the court? It's just seems like such an easy fix, and it boggles my mind why 2K has such a difficult time with simple stuff, such as adding different accessory colors for home and away unis.Comment

I would guess that behind the back would be a half circle on the analog. And a spin would be a full circle.Comment

What I really hope is that only elite ballhandlers can perform all kind of dribblings without risking too much loosing the ball or at least pick up the dribble. Also only top physical specimens as Rose or Westbrook should be able to blow by, explode and dominate the defense easily (unless you have in front an elite defender as Tony Allen)...
So far so good. ;-)Ignorance is Bliss...Comment

Looking pretty good I just have 2 concerns 1. Sliding- in the developer insight i still seen Danny Granger sliding hopefully that is an area they clean up before launch
2nd. Streetball 2k13- im hoping and praying to god almighty that moving the dribble controls to the right stick doesn't bite 2k in the *** by people online turning NBA 2K13 into AND 1 MIXTAPE 2K13
other than that it looks pretty solidComment

lol. 4th year in a row am I complaining about it, and still it's not fixed.
LaMarcus Aldridge still has high socks. He never ever in his life wore high socks. Great, I'm sure his J is still off, too. And So is Matthews'.
Wonder who's in charge of those things (must have someone in charge for that, right?) - he's prolly getting paid bad or something - cause he shows zero commitment.
So glad I sold both my consoles, I'd rather play in the playground. You won't always be the best shooter. You won't always be the best rebounder, or defender, either. What you can always do the best though, is play hard. Once you do that, Everything else will take care of itself.Comment

Do the default controls apply when in the post? If I'm in the post with a player and I pull away from the basket on the right stick, will I shoot a fade or dribble?
It will take some getting used to for me, but the new control scheme does sound pretty cool.Comment

Another problem that I've seen is with some reactions of the defensive players in some 1v1 interactions, the reactions look pretty good, but for example when Rose is dribbling Rondo, Rondo's reaction continues to be like a zombie, like in the previous nba2k. I guess that perfection can't be achieved =P.Last edited by silverskier; 08-11-2012, 11:05 AM.Comment

This! Granger is sliding. And we have only seen interaction between two players in 1v1, but not in 2v1 for example, so maybe there is sliding - and morphing - in there, we'll see!

That wasn't granger, it was Augustin

that clip was like 2 seconds...you can't base it off of a 2 second clip. They said they fixed the D that it was much tighter and more responsive. Believe in what they say.Comment
