I think thats the part where they spent most of their time. Its great. One little concern is the animation you saw in the trailer. I think this partiular animation not based on physics but an actual full animation like the suck in animation in 2k8. but I guess its just realistic - if youre beaten you cant recover quickly.

When you say the game 'automatically' makes you do a one handed hoist at the end of the shot clock, do you literally mean automatically? or of you happen to hit the shot button...
I remember in similar situations in the Live 10, you would do a quick shot so you wouldn't get caught in an animation when the shot clock is going down...you'd have to actually initiate it though...

Animation wise like I said more forcefull which I liked a lot. But like I also said in the preview some instances where the animation was played out although there was a defender next to me.Comment

Thanks again for your yearly impressions from Gamescom.
Question: Are the D-Pad options useful like in 2k11 (subs, quick plays etc) or the non useful options in 2k12 (camera changes, hot streaks).

So, there were no off the ball calls apart from over the backs? I would like to see off the ball calls when your opponent set the defensive pressure too high, "deny ball" and that kind of stuff.
It also would be nice to have plays to specifically attack zone defenses, but I guess you won't be able to look for anything like that in the demo...

Only in certain contexts, like dribble pull ups, up-and-unders, or escape dribbles. Never saw it on a regular spot up jumper - i seen players fall back, but never a full "i'm falling on top of you" reggie miller style foulComment

Very clutch DaWolf, thank you. But i have 3 questions:
1. Are the layups improved? Do they still do unnecessary animations which results in the player getting blocked???
2. Is the passing any better? 2k said this was going to be one of the bigeer improvements in this game and i HATED the passing in 2k12.
3. Idk if you called any plays, but if you did, did the players come off the screens better? In 2k12 it was the must pathetic thing to see. They would walk around the screen instead of running to try and create separation.
These 3 things i hated the most (and the spacing of the offense but you already said its the same which pisses me off). Especially the first two, i would be very pleased if it got fixed.Comment
