I don't really care that he was wide open or that he made it, just that he plays like him. I'm well aware that he also has a tendency to force shots. It's not just that moment that has me excited for, a lot of little things that happened in the video definitely caught my attention.

EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

For those wondering, as the vid was in Polish, my native language, they didn't say anything new and, to say it lightly, weren't very knowledgeable.

The passing on the move looks to be improved. Those chest passes looked better than 2k12. The AI looked most impressive in this video. In particular, Harden used a nice triple threat move along with a stepback shot.
The annoying "live ball", cpu up/unders, and unrealistic bumping from 2k12 looks to have almost vanished form these videos shown. The new animations for on-ball defense look very realistic also.Comment

Having game presentation elements look more like a rap album cover than a TNT broadcast just doesn't make sense, given the progress 2K had made the last couple of years.
Take a look at Madden 2K13 for presentation that looks eerily like a broadcast-- that's what we need more of, not less because of compromises that serve marketing cross promotionals. I would take authentic presentation and mediocre tunes to inauthentic presentation and a few good rap tracks anyday.

These are definitely not the fingerprints from him that we needed. The feedback on it seems mildly negative overall so far. I haven't seen many people say they really like it.
I was a little wary hearing that he would be involved, and my concerns seem to be validated. It's not a giant deal but why pay someone to help presentation take steps backwards? Maybe that money could have served to help entice Pippen back on board.Comment

That would be beautiful. Now I'm more convinced the shield motif that shows up randomly is Jay-Z sneaking elements in from the Nets logo into everything, which is a little lame if that's the case.
That's kind of like having Mark Cuban sneak in prancing ponies during wipes if he was producing the game. Wait, some people might actually like that.Comment
