This is why my CAP always rock a normal cut or cut it all off and wear a head band (except 2k11 cause of the glitch of wearing it during pressers and walking into the arena.... that was wack)

CAP looks terrible. Take a small page out of EA's book and do a gameface style with a plethora of new hairstyles so the player looks more natural instead of Asian/Cartoonish. My background is Italian/Irish, and no matter what I cannot create a good version of me in that game!

The hairstyle for waves absolutely sucks. No option to get "360 waves" like most people with waves have. Brandon Knight had the perfect hairstyle for this in 2K12, but you couldn't use it on your own player.

I also didn't like the afro hairstyle. All you could use was some Ben Wallace type afro, but you could never have the cleaner more "rounded" afro like Josh Childress.

C'mon 2K. Visit some barbershops and see what hairstyles people (all races) are really wearing and put those in the game, and get rid of the junk hairstyles that have been wasting space for years.

but it's impressiv, each time i saw the patch i would like to throw my ps3 on 2k developpers faces!

now we have pippen, Hawkins, Mcmillan Payton, Ewing, Starcks it's ok but we aren't still able to create a player with this hairstyle!!
there is another bug like that, no-charge zone half circle from classic arenas in all game modes, i think it's the same kind of problem which can be resolved easily!!

The game is perfect (imo) in every way except for my player. They need to truly get on it's creation features, no Goggles, terrible hair styles and beards. If I want to looks like a Globe Trotter or a Member of Color me Badd, then this is my game, bit other than that I can't create anything worth while and I have to settle for a decent player and even that is never good.

2K amazes me with how great and realistic their game is but the CAP is one of the worst for a game across any genre, they still don't have a decent looking short cut with a shape up which is the hairstyle used by about 60% of the players in the league. Every year in franchise mode the rookies come out looking more and more ridiculous, I'm hesitant to even draft some of them when they barely resemble the human race. The CAP needs a complete makeover, not to mention every player no matter what the skin tone has the same generic face.

I would agree, this is an area where I would love to see 2K do a lot better. I honestly wish they could adopt The Shows facial morphing and hair styles. I use to have waves but cut my hair low for the summer. The waves that they have in the game is more like a 90's style of waves where its only the top of the head. Last I check, most waves do a 360 around someones head. Also, the facial options are terrible, almost like they have them in the game to create older guys. Thing is, most of those older guys (Walt Fraizer) are in the game now.

Please update the create a player options 2K. In fact, let me go write my own post on this subject....

maybe they should get a barber to emulate all the haircuts because to me all the MyPlayers look the same




Literally everyone MyPlayer i seen looks like that or a lighter or darker version the hairstyles are so bland and boring

I know this is about needing more hairstyles but I really like Saints Row the Thirds create a player system..

2K should consider adding a CAP system like the wrestling games, or saints row or tiger woods series.. You can make faces that look 100 times more realistic than anything I've ever saw from 2K..

Yeah. Drew Gooden wore that hair patch thing for ONE YEAR like 4 years ago. Been in the game ever since.

And let's not forget the facial hair. I'd love to give someone some of those bears but they look like someone scribbled it on their face with Sharpies. I'm glad that generated rookies wear random equpiment. Doesn't even matter that most of the stuff just looks silly on anyone but Kobe like the finger things. But at least it helps distinguish players some.
