Whats the story on VC(Virtual Currency). Is this a microtransaction based way to get you My Player a higher rating faster?

Or is it something you simply earn by playing the various game modes?

Or do i have no idea what im talking about?

EDIT : according to the recent WiiU Announcement it seems as if VC replaces either Skill Points or $ in My Player (or both)

on a personal off topic note. Watching 2K go microtransactions will be hurtful to me. I hope they're not struggling for money.

Can you take your MyPlayer online?
Yes you can, via the Blacktop Mode.

Will NBA 2K13 have an Ultimate Team mode like Madden?
Yes. It is called "Road To The Playoffs."

Will celebrities be courtside at the games?
Yes. When you’re at big games in prominent cities like Los Angeles, you may see celebrities like Pauly D, Justin Bieber, Snoop Lion, and JB Smoove in the stands. Sorry, no Jack Nicholson or Spike Lee.

With being able to download all the prior stats and injuries whenever you start an association, will real life injuries be incorporated into association like in NBA Today, or will I have to control all 32 teams and manually change rotations and rosters?

Hi everyone, I don't know if this was posted before but I just heard from the September 12 hangtime podcast that seikou smith and Lang Whittaker will be in nba 2k13. Unfortunately I do not know in what capacity.

In my player is the draft fixed where the last place teams actually draft first rather than a guarnteed 76ers dynasty. Kindve ruins the fun 6 or 7 years in.

No info on this. Hope that's is based on records, like it is in Association mode and the real nba.

You have always been able to switch normal teams against classic teams in association mode before, I don't think this year will be any different. Just choose "customize league" when starting an association.

Thank you. I try to keep it as up to date with relevant info as much as I can. Hard to know how detailed you should go.
