I dunno after watching the Pacers series gm 4 and seeing LeBron raise his game with their backs against the wall and then gm 6 of the ECF ... I think he has finally arrived mentally.

nuff said bro. And I honestly I like Lebron, he not clutch in my opinion as of YET, a couple of more season dominating in the 4TH QUARTER I would gladly KNIGHT HIM, just not now, this is whats wrong with the NBA today, you guys don't let these guys develop, before you starting giving them all these titles, Lebron is not clutch yet period. And if you don't like my opinion, well you know what to do.
Wow a video by a Kobe fan, to make Lebron look bad. The video I showed you were at the very least relevant, and it was visual proof to what I was saying. I can probably put together a video of all of Jordan's missed shots, so he can look like a choke artist, not only that but the video is using footage of the 2011 season, where he was still trying to figure out how to play with his teammates, along with a interview just to show you how the video creator, is trying make the viewer dislike lebron(when the video is suppose to show you how un-clutch he is, it's irrelevant).

Name a athelete that looks forward to answering dumba$$ questions, and he was honest who wouldn't want to be the MVP. Even Jordan didn't like being interviewed, he request to do interviews with Ahmad Rashad, that isn't being a diva, or being arrogant? It's unrealistic to expect a player to hit every shot. He doesn't need anymore season when he's already shown he's clutch. "Nuff said" nuff said what? Lmao come on "old head" stop reaching.

            If LeBron Gets a 99...

...I don't care because it just says 99 but we all know Jordan is like 110, LeBron is 99, and Scalabrine is a 1000.

So let me guess you want to give the guy, who really don't want the ball in clutch situations or thrives in clutch situations (only sometimes) who is not known to be a clutch player.. a clutch rating after ONE GOOD SEASON. The boy is not CONSISTENT IN CLUTCH SITUATIONS as of YET.

this thread sure caught fire, didn't it? twelve pages in six hours.

i'll put it this way - lebron CAN be clutch sometimes and was decent in the clutch last year, but comparing his clutchness to the likes of kobe or especially mj is pointless.

This argument is futile especially since statistical evidence has been brought into the fray and you just keep beating the same tired drum. In a vacuum one past year (I.e. the Dallas series) doesn't cancel an entire career body of work (say 2005 and up minus the Dallas series).

It's almost like you're arguing just to argue.

That may sound crazy but a clutch player thrives in that final possession, they want the ball in there hands and will do anything to create a shot for themselves, Lebron does sometimes create a shot for himself but he is known for not taking that shot also and makes a great basketball play anyone can hit a huge shot every now and then but to be clutch you have to do it consistently...and as the best player in the NBA you got to want that shot. A Closer though can take over a game in the final minutes or for a whole stretch of the final quarter and Lebron is one of the best Closers in the game, it's funny how in the final moments he will often times not shoot but when it's the closing minutes of a game he will elect to shoot 9 times out of 10.
No, I disagree with this completely. Being clutch is also making that three or free throw when it's 3,2 or 1 minute left on the game clock and your team is down. It's impossible to say he's a closer but he isn't clutch. Take for example TOM Brady, he can have a drive which finishes with a TD pass with 2 minutes left, isn't he clutch? Or because it's time left it doesn't count? Lebron is clutch, he makes big plays with minutes and seconds left. People are looking for him to make buzzer beaters, and he has made those buzzer beaters, but he has made more shots with time left. That may be one of the reasons why people don't consider him clutch.

According to my research Pristy's been here since 2010, yet only made 28 posts, half to this thread!

                          To Pristy:
LeBron is STARTING to be a good clutch player, he's no Jordan. A few players can take a crappy team like Cleveland to 50 wins going the best he can, so in Miami, he can tone it down. A few players can take a C+ team to 50+ wins constantly, so you have to at least know how to be clutch. You can't deny that.

also, any superstar is 'clutch' because that's who you expect to make a play during crunch time. but among the clutch performers of history, lebron isn't even at the bottom of that list.
