    Ive seen it numerous times.

Ive made at least 5-6 guys drop since the game released. And my ankles have been broken and I have been put on my *** at least a good 3 times since release.

You can. I did it with Blake Griffin and I seen one of my boys pull it off Rudy Gay on the break.

Best way is to be wide open on the fastbreak with a dunker capable of it Iggy, Rudy Gay, Blake, Jr Swish, Kobe etc.

It's just like doing the spin dunk, but just on the break. So just move the stick in a circular motion clockwise.

Is it not possible to do a drop step after a spin or a drive from the low post? Can we only drop step while backing down?

I don't understand the logic with post turn arounds this year. In freestyle Hall of fame - Sim with kobe bryant with no defense on me, I'am not making any of them unless im right under the rim. I make some sometimes off course but there is no logic to it.

The back to the basket game is just isn't as fun this years, simply because the fadeways have been nerfed so much (I know KG and Dirk are still pretty good at it) that the up'and'unders have became also really unneffective. The rules when someone is backing you down is never try to contest/jump on anything because the Hook shot is ineffective and so is the fadeaway.

I realise it's a tough shot in reality, but Kobe should make some of them or atleast there should be a logic to it.

I've found out that post turnarounds work well with players that (are good at it sure) but have hot zones in the paint and around it. Like Jordan, KG, Dirk.

I've experimented with right stick passing this past week, and I can safely say I'm not going back to icon passing anymore. The RS passes are quicker and dont get stolen unlike my icon passes that just dont feel crisp. I've used icon passing forever so this change was hard at first, but worth it.

How can I do training camp with the RS controls? whenever I do it it tells me to use x to shoot and b to do iso moves

You cannot bounce pass while initiating a give & go.

maybe someone has already posted this or it could be in a totally different thread....but havent had the game that long, starting to get it tho.....wondering how to do sig layups? Chris Pauls, Jamal Crawfords? etc....seems like some are just for different situations, Crawfords would be awesome to get down with the right iso moves

Well what Ive noticed this yr it's about fluid motions and combos. They have added so many animations you rarely gone see the same things. I believe the sig packages are situational though. It's almost like playing street fighter or killer instinct when u had to do certain combos to unlock special moves for that specific character. I love that we as 2k fans are linking up to figure this game out. I've been a fan of this game since 2k7. I guess it's safe to say this yr we have to make the biggest adjustments in at least 4 yrs. keep practicing though that's really what this game has taught us, practice scrimmage is our best friend especially this yr.

                        Re: NBA 2K13 Advanced Controls

Had fun last night making someone look silly last night on Quick Match Team-Up. I was controlling Javale McGee and they were controlling a Thunder guard just a few feet in front of the 3pt line. I was running the break, just me and him, and I used the quick behind the back dribble (LS held towards basket, and then flick the RS down) to completely elude him and them just jam it home. It was like that time Yao made a guard look silly on the fast break.

I've been practicing that move for a day or two on Team-Up, since it's more useful than that WIDE behind the back dribble to the side.

People should also try Rondo's floater (LS Up, RS down) out. It's REALLY easy. I was just killing a guy on quick match yesterday who was horrible defending me one on one with Westbrook, and I was just nailing them constantly from about the FT line. It's almost as high percentage as a normal layup or dunk.

I don't know if this has already been mentioned before, but I figured out that the best time to use the RS crossover with forward LS momentum, is when the ball is either in line with an imaginary half-way line on the defenders body, or even better, closer to the side you want to cross over from. You should blow by them with this technique. If you don't, you'll probably end up getting into a "bodied up" animation.

Doing the "full-body" crossover will require you to to flick the RS at the defender and then push the LS in the diagonal direction you want to cross to.

Does anybody know how to properly use the inside/outside face up drives? When i try to use it, i either get the ball poked away or draw a foul. Its no fun when you cant get it to work.

Ok Pick n Roll. This might have been asked before. How in the heck do you stop the ball handler from doing a shuffle into the pick? It is so slow and annoying.

Why the player we control sometimes takes charges on his own while defending the post? It's pretty wierd. You get called for a blocking foul too. Anyone knows how to stop this?

                                Timeout didn't work ?

Nah I've had this problem. Also my no controlled teammates always reach in when I have my opponent nowhere to go.

Any way to stop random reach ins too?
