Question: When you switch on defense, so you were guarding the SF and now you're guarding the SG, the SF scores, do you still get deducted for allowing your player to score? I always hated that.

Can you sim any game in MyCareer?

That was one of my main beefs about 2K12. If there was a game I wanted to play, I couldn't just sim to it. I could only sim to a key game, which was usually a game I didn't even want to play, so it would sim over the game I DID want to play until it got to a key game.

No you can't we have the same options from last year... Play next key game and play next game.

That's so wack. If I want to test myself against a great team, but they aren't a key game, I have to play every single game until I get to that game.

What's the point of that?

The load screens are faster if that's any consolation. You can always start a game and then just choose the sim to the end function until you get to the game you want.

9 pts, 5 rebs, 7 ast, 3 stl, 1 block in the rookie showcase.
Projected to go 8th overall to Tor but was drafted 6th by the Blazers. Pleasant surprise.

The load screens are faster if that's any consolation. You can always start a game and then just choose the sim to the end function until you get to the game you want.

Oh, that's better. Last year you couldn't sim to the end. The only option was to foul out your individual player, then sim to the end of the game but that would mean your stats would take a massive hit.

I just double checked and I'm wrong, you can't even sim to the end. Sorry to get your hopes up. It was in 2k11, I didn't even realize they took it out in 2k12.

Bummer, that was the one thing I wanted them to change. If you're on a winning streak and have a game against the best team coming up, the only way you can play that game to test yourself is to play every single game up until that game unless it's a key game, and they usually aren't.

Awful.

Got drafted #1 my first try! u cant understand how hype i was @ 1 A.M! lol My only beef is there is no real BENEFIT to actually going number 1. You'll still only get a rookie 500 coin contract, even though you SHOULD be getting more if your drafted in the top 3, but 2k of course dropped the ball on this.

I personally despise the VC system, it is clearly 2k's way of introducing microtransactions into a game. The fact you can you use real money to buy vc is fraudelent because that is basically content being held from you UNLESS you pay more.

Also, Idk if its just me, but pretty much ALL the stars in myCAREER are injured at the moment. KD, klove, kobe, rudy gay,blakey, rose, bron. These guys are made of glass this year.

Made an athletic PG named DeShawn Owens... He's fresh as hellllll number 15 too. He got drafted by OKC because I played awful in the Stars vs. Elite game. 2k generic brand shoes are hideous and make my player look like such a dork lol. Cant wait to get me some J's

Is it possible to change player features or name in my career? Because I would rather just play 2k12 if that is not an option... I don't want to play with a guy I made in 5 seconds... for every single game. It sucks to have to have the same face for every guy.

After seeing a vid of a drill(havent played the game vet), do they still give rating boost or is it just VC?

I saw someone got 60 VC for getting gold in Dribble Course, but I didnt see any attribute boost bonus. If so, I dont see any bonus of doing a drill if your just going to get VC.

You only get VC for drills this year. And a rather low amount of it too.
