That is disappointing. I only played the rookie showcase last night and like someone else was saying ere are no changes to any part if the creation process. Actually, the one thing I did notice is the "buzz" hairstyle is different. Other than that the tattoos and everything else are the same.

Auto save isn't that big of a deal to me but damn, who else had a hard time figuring out how to create more than one MyPlayer? Ridiculous....

The combination of the two just wrecked my first career. I didn't really notice the top option is now play key game instead of play next game like it has been the last 2 years...at least I think it was. There was no "are you sure?" Or any prompt...

Game started simming away..couldn't get it to stop, which I think I could last year with B on xbox. So 26 games completed, and then autosaved.

It's my own fault, but still totally ridonkulous.

Anyone finding their player moves way too slow in my career mode? I'm playing an athletic SF with a rating i believe 77spd 75 quick and my player is like a slug on the court. i played the same loadout last year and he was no where as slow as he is now. just wondering if its just this setup or if all positions/styles feel slow now.

After only a few hours with the game today, unfortunately I'm incredibly disappointed with My Player this year. The lack of improvements to the mode are staggering. Here are just a few -

1. The exact same create a player features from 2k12 (these actually haven't been updated since 2k11)
2. Once again, the lack of custom sliders in My Player (how many years will this continue?)
3. The inability to turn off Auto-Save this year....why in the world is this a good idea?
4. Unless you are a PG, you can't even SEE the plays that are being called for your team, much less call any yourself. What a disaster.

Exactly. There is always something that 2k doesn't fix but should easily be fixed. You have to wonder if they even tested the game before it came out. We really need sliders. My first 2 games it looked like my teammates were doing well but then in my 3rd game my teammates didn't do well and the AI on the other team was making every shot. They shot 60% in the game. Made tons of 3s with hands in their faces and shot clock cheese. SMH

Ugh, I hate how everything needs VC.

I mean seriously I can't even get that most basic accessories without it. I can see that it adds replay to the game and tries to get to try other modes to earn them but it just screams of planned obsolesce to me.The entire my player store can't be accessed without being online.

So, actually got to begin my career before I had to be at work this morning.

6'7" Point Forward : Going for a Scottie Pippen type player.

Sucks that all accessories must be purchased, and they ain't cheap. I don't wear very many personally (usually a hex sleeve on my left arm at most), so it doesn't affect me too much, but it's still dumb.

I also don't like that you have to wear generics starting out.

Rookie Game:
Davis played very well, especially inside. Since I'm a SF, had to guard MKG. This was NOT fun at all. He made me look foolish several times during the game. But he played like he plays, so I expected it.

I played OK. I think my stat line was something like: 9 PTS, 4 REB, 5 AST, 1 BLK, on right around 45% shooting.

Got interviewed by Philly (first choice), Houston (didn't want to play there), and Dallas (second choice). The mock draft had me going at 15 to the 76ers, but I went 17th to the Mavs. Have not played a pro game yet.

Hoping that me and Mayo are able to come together and become a potent one-two punch.

I'm loving it so far! Got a ton of videos up on the channel (not gonna spam it but I'm loving putting the videos up haha). Drafted by the Blazers. About to play my first game!

What difficulty are you guys using?

All-Star Sim, 12 min. My Player isnt that good, Im going more for realism. Getting about 25 min a game.

I might tweak the rosters and start another, but I think ill be at All-Star Sim will be my choice until I get better then Ill bump it to Superstar. Doubt Ill ever go to Hall of Fame.

i notice this bs too, i score and its an automatic fast break for the computer, horrible
