Unfortunately, it's very true. I've been playing since Friday. No Playvision unless ur a PG. My MyPlayer is a PG, and when I subbed to SG, I'm limited to only calling screens. Really sucks. When u try to call a play, u see the icons, u choose, and then there's nothing. U have no clue what ur assignments are. Another issue, is that the setting for Playvision NEVER saves. U have to go in and turn on "Full" or "Lite" during EVERY game. It asks "do you want to save these settings...?" every time, and it never saves. Crazy.

That's a real mode-killing bug... If you choose to go with something other than a PG that means the team won't be running any visible plays.... Seriously, that's horrible.

What's so bad about that? I never ran plays anyway--then again, I play a center.

After all, one of the biggest complaints about the 2K11 patch was that it forced you to have PlayVision always on (which is what led 2K to make play-running optional in 2K12).

Or does this mean that the plays are still run, but you can't see where you're supposed to go or what you're supposed to do?

...That WOULD be bad.

It seems like this is the case...

If I'm the SG, or any other positions than PG, I want the team to run plays and I have to follow them. If the playvision doesn't show up then it's basically just free roaming offense every single time down the court... That takes away from being a part of a team.

Not sure if this was common knowledge but I've just found 2 Sig Skills unique to MyCareer

Gatorade Prime Pack(Gatorade symbol) - A Player that does not tire in the 1st quarter of action.

On Court Coach (3 Dollar signs) - A player Highly respected by his teammates. When he calls for the ball, his teammates drop what they are doing and pass him the ball immediately.

I do NOT know if these take up one of the 5 SS slots. I don't think they will personally.

Can you sim any game in MyCareer? I'd like to actually play an entire career but just don't have the man hours to put into the game. It takes like 50-60 to get halfway.

you have to turn it on before you enter games or it will never save

If you mess up, it's saved. Say you play a really bad game, get traded to a team you don't want or get hurt. Saved.

I like it, keeps things real. But I see the angst over it.

Dashboarding cures that? At least I think it does. It has for the past couple of years lol.

But yeah I guess I can see how that would be a problem!

I would think so, but I am not sure with your name being locked once you start your MyCareer.

I dont want all my players to have the same name.
