What's the difference between online and offline mycareer? If you play offline, how do you earn points to upgrade your player? And would you still get the ps3 trophies for mycareer?

Hoping that Courtney Lee can provide some consistent scoring option off the bench for us. Glad that my GM listened to me by trading for him. He is basically replacing E'Tuwan Moore, who I asked the GM to get last offseason(hadnt played since the 11-12 season). Besides being older, he better overall player than Moore. As the 6th man, I will see how big(or small) his impact is quickly. If we can go after one of the big men I asked for, I think we can have a team that can compete for a title next year. Unless he retire, he still had 4 years on his contract.

At 19-22, I hope we lose out and end up with a good lottery pick. I been wanting to play with a good young talent. I would like is a all-around SF that can sit behind Granger for 1-2 years. We have the talent to probably compete for a title now, but next year we could be better with more talent off of bench. Besides George, our main players our locked up for the next 3-4 years. George has a player option next year.

Really want to start a MyCareer right now but some people are saying wait for the patch to come out. Think I might just do it because i've been waiting for ages. What are you guys thoughts as I don't want to start and waste my VC to do it all again?

Go ahead..what's the point of waiting for the new rosters really? tons of trades happen during the season so it won't matter anyway.

Basically, the only difference is you'll be earning SP instead of VC. Also, you can still upgrade attributes, but not accessories... you should still be able to unlock trophies/achievements

I lost two in one play. One of those dumb advertisements came up showing the upcoming schedule or whatever, and I kept mashing X trying to get it off the screen. Little did I know the game was playing out underneath that screen and I was just getting all kinds of bad call for pass and excessive call for pass warnings.

Been there too many times. Also hit A coming out of the pause menu and lost some for trying to take a charge. Speaking of which...can you draw a charge? I had three people coming at me on a fastbreak and assumed the position. Got flattened but no call either way. I did get an increase for Good Shot Defense though.

Finally cracked the starting lineup tonight. Playing as a PG but started as a SG. Don't really care. I'll take a start wherever. Played one game and dropped 12 minutes back to a Sixth Man. On the plus side, I am at the top of the race for Sixth Man of the Year to add to MVP and Rookie of the Year.

I had my 1st 50 pt game with my PG. Hopefully my last one too. I dont like shooting alot. I was responsible for 82 pts. We beat Pistons in Overtime. We could have beaten them in regulation, but they took me out the game with 5 secs left because I called a TO after Knight missed a FT. Lee played good in his time. He had 10pts(5-9) and 1 steals. I had my 2500 assist.

i am having this exact issue with my 6'7'' athletic pg

Anyone know why I can't do Spin dunks with my player? I bought the One Hand and Two hand spin dunk animations and equipped them. I am a 6"7 PG and maxed out my dunk to 90. Maxed out vertical at 95. Maxed out Ball Handling/Shoot Off Dribble/Off Hand Dribbling/Ball Security/Shoot In traffic. I even just upgraded my standing dunk to 40 out of the max 45 still cant do a spin dunk. Hands is at 80 out of 99 if that has anything to do with it.

I double tap B while holding RT and then holding Square cant do it even though I can do it with other players. Anyone know why?

Since we don't get an attribute bonus for getting a GOLD star in drills anymore.. I take it everyone's just doing shooting or Knockout now? made more sense to get a bonus for doing well in the drill

Both those modes suck. I miss the easiest shots in shooting mode, and knockout, the guy who's in line to eliminate you, ALWAYS makes his first shot.

I do the obstacle one(where you run through pylons and past a defender) along with the screen drill.

Kinda annoyed because my MC is on hold until it's confirmed a patch addresses the CPU OREB issue and FG% being too high, DEF AWR etc... these things just kill the enjoyment for me. I'm in the 2nd Rd of the postseason vs WAS and I really wanna play more, but these issues will start to get to me again.

Plus I've earned over 20k VC, even bought some, I've got the accessories I want, and I like my team, situation etc... I just need to know if the patch will address MC's already in progress.

I haven't really followed the patch release timetable in past years. Anyone know a general window of when it's coming?

Next game after the back to back double doubles.. I've got 3 fouls in the first quarter for a D+ grade after 1.. no points no assists just 1 rebound. The fouls weren't trying to steal or rebound.. 2 were running across the lane and running into a guy who fell down! So the game created a level playing field by taking my teammate grade on bogus fake calls

I pray for the day when you build your player through drills only. But with the addition of VC my prayers may never be answered.
