I have 5 TO's in the first half just because of them asking for the pass and running away when the ball is coming to them

And im back on the bench next game...why? i dominated the 2nd half..this is bs whens the patch coming?

Is that legends camp thing really worth it?

And how do you get the ball more often? I have so many times where my guys open, and nobody passes it to me. And when I call for the pass, I lose a quarter of my teammate grade bar, for "bad call for pass", even during times where I'm wide open, in easy scoring opportunities.

The legends camp costs less than to actually upgrade your player's attributes.

If you have enough VC, get the On Court Coach signature skill. It's well worth it IMO.

They actually made a trade I wanted. I asked for Courtney Lee and got him. We traded away E.Moore(who I asked for in FA) and a 2nd pick. He gives us a scorer off the bench we DESPERATELY needed. He is our 6th man. Even though they still havent gotten rid of Devin Harris like I repeatedly asked for, at least he got moved down to #8 in rotation. I still hope they get 1 of the 3 big men I asked for. I wanted a player with the brick wall skill.

I am avging 18.2 pts, 7.8 apg, 1.8 spg, 53 FG%, 42.6 3pt %, 98% FT. I could be avging more, if I hadnt loss my job(got it back). I am 5 assist away from my 2500 assist. I am 2nd in All-Star votes for PGs.

I think getting Lee can really benefit us. I basically had to take over when the 2nd unit comes in. With him there, I can run plays for him. Still hope we can get rid of Taj Gibson for a backup PF. I like our current backup. Even though he is really only a rebounder, he is better than Taj.

We went from being 12-5 to 19-22(11th). At this point, I either want to go on a hot streak to end up in 6th place or higher or end up with a high lottery pick. We do have to replace Danny Granger since he is 33 in my career. I dont like Harris, but we are good at PG. Good at SG. Like our Center and backup PF. We just need a good young SF to develop and a 6'10-7' versatile big that can block shots and pull down rebounds.

Through 13 games (I got extremely busy with work and didn't get to play most of the last 5 days) my SG is up to 18.8 minutes per game though the rotation says I should be getting 26 minutes, I didn't get that until I did a GM meeting and complimented him and the coach. 11 PPG 1.5 boards 3.7 assists 42% shooting 36% for 3's.. 2.2 turnovers per game.

My PPG would be better but it seems like every open layup I get .. or that looks open from the free throw line ends up contested and I can't get by the guy who runs over to stop me.

5 game win streak now.. and the press conference asks my thoughts on it.. I figure sure, I'll say I'd like to stretch it to double digits.. oops teammates don't like that, I guess they'd rather have the winning streak ended?? I lose Fans.. only positive feedback was from the locals.. so far I've only got the positive arrow from teammates ONCE from a press conference.. did they make it that hard on purpose so you can't get team chemistry up?

Just started MyCareer. My player's name is Wayne Garrett. A 6'5'' 195lbs All-Around SG from University at Buffalo. Kind of thought of wanting to play for the Raptors. Close to his home kind of thing. :wink: My Rookie Showcase stats were 23pts 1reb 3ast. Not impressive with a grade of B. Had interviews with Rockets(12th), Trail Blazers(6th, 11th) and Bucks(14th). Didn't like the Rockets because they already have Kevin Martin and wanted me to play a little bit of a SF. Trail Blazers seemed fine with Wesley Mathews as their SG. Didn't like the Bucks too because of Monta Ellis.

Got drafted as the 11th pick in the draft. They made me a role player with 12mpg. Started to buff my consistency, offensive/defensive awareness then eventually my on-ball defense and stamina. The starters were Lillard, Batum, Mathews, Hickson and Aldridge. Seems odd that Batum, Mathews and Aldridge are starting with their secondary position. BTW, my secondary position is PG.

With only 64 rating on 3pt shooting, I still manage to have a decent 42% 3pt shooting. Probably it's because of my shooting release 72 and form 13. And the defenders don't respect me from downtown, they let me fire away. :wink: They made me 6th man eventually while helping the team to a 7-3 start in the season. Lost one key game our very first game. That's versus the Lakers.

After averaging 17pts 3reb 4ast and teammate grade of B, our coach Terry Stotts gave me the nod at starting PG. He likes to start players with their secondary position. I finished with 25pts 7reb and 11ast on my first game as a starter with a grade of A. Our team record is now 8-3. My player, rated at 65, currently averaging 18.7pts 3.6reb 5.6ast and still teammate grade of B. 3pt percentage has gone down to 39%. BTW, my style of play is passive not aggressive. I don't force things. I think I'll stay with Portland.

Is there a way to get a starter traded? I'm about halfway through season 1 and a PG for the Spurs. I'm rated 71 and behind Tony Parker which makes sense but didn't know if there is a way to have him traded for a strong player at a different position. I'm the 6th man and getting more minutes than 3 starters but not starting. I've tried telling the GM he is holding me back but nothing changes. Any ideas?

Anyone have any advice?

Just keep saying you don't get along with him to the GM, and saying he's holding you back. If the trade deadline hasn't past, they might trade him. I don't think you can really control who they trade for, but they might ask you for suggestions.


On a different note, anybody know how to up your stats when you simulate. I average about 28pp 7rb 7ast when I play. But if I simulate and only play key games, my player only averages 15pp 6rb 3ast!! If I keep doing that there's no way I'll make the all star/all-nba teams or win the mvp lol.

What attributes are key in increasing your averages. I want my player to be a scoring machine like Durant and Carmelo are in the game. My player is rated 81 overall right now. I know it doesn't have to do with high ratings all the time. People like Kevin Martin average 20+ppg with only a 79 overall.

I think it mostly has to do with player tendencies. Players that are trigger happy, don't pass the ball and look to shoot first whenever they're passed the ball. But I don't know if we can even control our my player tendencies during simulation?

I have 5 signature skills so far, shot creator, dimer, scrapper, defensive anchor and gatorade pack. My offensive and defensive awareness are in the 90s+.

Any ideas?

Hey everyone,

I am sure someone else wrote about it elsewhere but I found another decent way to make VC.

I started a pg (scoring) an played well enough to get PROJECTED to be picked #1. IMPORTANT: SAVE THE GAME JUST BEFORE TIME RUNS OUT. I start the game up with a few seconds left and it ends. I go through the interviews(I turn volune off an just hit A when the words pop up). When they show the projections is when they give you the VC for the game and for your draft position. I then hit the xBox button and exit out without going any further. I earn around 500 VC by doing this.

So, I go play my regular career guy for a game. Then I run the 5 min it takes to start the 'money' game as I call it and go through the interviews. I have not figured out what the time delay is yet like there is for the Blacktop game. I will post when I do. I created two 'money' games so I can go collect 1000 VC in 10 min. Added to what you get playing the one on one Blacktop game the VC starts to really roll in.

Pau.... Guess the Lakers are happy with Howard and needed depth, and I won Lin's spot scoring close to 30 a game for 2 months straight. If we pick up one more Forward, we should be up there of the best in the West.

I have given up on MC and created my guy and took him into CAL. Overall it is much better than MC. There are things missing, but the ai is somewhat better, I don't get left in the game during blowouts, I don't have to go Jordan and take over most games to win, I can run both defensive and offensive sets at any position.

How did you do this? Every time i create a guy it doesn't show up on the roster when i try to start it. I created my player, saved my roster, loaded my roster and my guy still wasn't there on cal.

I have noted that, as a PG, there is a certain magical number of assists that will let you keep your spot no matter how many turnovers you get. In my experience, it is 15. I regularly get 5-7 TOs if I'm not explicitly trying not to (I tend to take a LOT of chances), but never lost my starting spot until I asked for a trade. Apparently turnovers are okay as long as you are top five in the league in assists.

Thats the problem, I had 0 Turnovers, 60 percent shooting, a steal, blocks. I play SF so I'm not sure if I would have to worry about assist but maybe that's a problem but even so I'm averaging 5 on the year and only have had 2 games over 5 so it's pretty consistent on what I have been doing. I just don't want to continue playing good and lose minutes
