my player is running weird. almost like a tip toe, i cant take charges or set picks either is he injured?

I get this from time to time. It seems to fix itself after timeouts, or if I get tired of getting torched, when I save and reload.

Anyone else playing extreme mins? Myplayer is playing 42 mins a game now and im tired because coach doesn't manage my mins right. I'm also pissed that im starting SF for Cavs and Gee is starting SG. Waiters is barely getting mins and Boobie is getting more then him. I told the GM to play Waiters more and he only played more for a few games.

Before I changed my Quarter Length to 8 mins, I was getting 41+ minutes even though I was set to only get 35.

With roughly 11 games left, my stats are as followed:

14.1 PPG (On 52% shooting)
8.7 Rebs
1.4 AST
1.4 BLKs
.6 STLs

My Knicks are sitting as the Third best team in the Eastern Conference behind the Heat and 76ers. This group of guys is playing amazingly, but, as good as we are this year, I'm terrified for next year.

Roster:

PG - Jason Kidd, Jarret Jack, Maybe one other guy
SG - Iman Shumpert, JR Smith
SF - Carmelo Anthony, Steve Novak
PF - Amare Stoudamire, Kurt Thomas, Filler?
C - My Guy (Wilson Tiner - 7'0" Athletic Center), Tyson Chandler, Marcus Camby

If you look at it, most of our depth will drift into Free Agency or Retirement. The Knicks gave up Ronnie Brewer and Chris Copeland to get me. They also dumped Raymond Felton and Pablo Prigioni for Jarret Jack. Rasheed Wallace disappeared somewhere as well. Anyway, Kidd, Thomas, and Camby all will retire. Jarret Jack, JR Smith, and I believe Novak are all free agents.

So I'm praying our GM makes some smart moves. Otherwise we'll be screwed.

Have any of you guys made it into Year 2 or 3 and have seen your team take a step back?

I'm in my 3rd year, and the LAL, NYK, BOS, MEM(there are probably more that I can't remember right now) have all become teams that aren't making the playoffs this year. I'm on DAL and LeBron signed with us this past offseason, so I although we lost a couple pieces(Vince Carter & Shawn Marion) we more than made up for it by signing James. As for the teams I previously mentioned, the Knicks are doing bad because Melo signed to PHX I'd say. The lakers lost WorldPeace, Nash, & Blake. MEM didn't lose anyone, so I have no idea why they're losing. With BOS, I think they only lost Jason Terry, to DET, but otherwise I believe they aren't doing so well because Pierce & KG are older.

My team ended up falling out in the First Round to the Pistons, 4-2. The GM didn't even ask me if we should go for anyone in the offseason. Our depth got completed depleted.

PG - Jason Kidd (Surprisingly), 3 terrible rookies rated 62 and lower
SG - Iman Shumpert, Willie Green (We had him last year. He was who they got for Rasheed)
SF - Carmelo Anthony, Steve Novak
PF - Amare Stoudamire
C - My Guy, Tyson Chandler with -9 Overall, Marcus Camby which is also surprising, but he has -9 Overall.

We aren't looking good, and I can't carry us, yet. I will try to see what young Point Guards are out there that I could grab. I'm also thinking a young Small Forward or Power Forward that is capable over manning the opposite forward spot. Camby and Chandler need to go. I hate to see them waste away on the bench. I'd be happy to see us get Draft Picks for them if anything.

I'm looking forward to starting Year 2.

I wish i could turn this autosave bs off

put 12k VC in my center and while it was saving my power went out for a a few mins and now it's a corrupted file..

email 2ksupport. this happened to me around 5 times (not power outage just corrupted files) after a few emails (they were not very co operative) they eventually refunded all points i used and gave me 50k more. all you need is a picture saying ur save is corrupt and make sure you do not delete it of your HD they will take care of it all

This is why I hate VC and autosave. No way to create a backup file. I'm sorry that happened. I read somewhere on here that u can call tech support and they'd reimburse your lost VC. But I heard its a tedious process...

Definitely. I hope they go back to that system next year. With a real contract system. They can keep vc for myteam.

Yeah kind of sucks seeing everybody maxed out in their debut 2k11 and 12 you actually had to earn your way up
