I had like 30 points 12 rebounds 2 assists and 2 blocks in the rookie showcase thing

Just played against ORL. It was a great game. After having 6pts and 3 rebs in 1st half, I finished with 26pts, 13rebs, and 7 blocks. We lose by 1 pt. It was my fault. I let Big Baby get hot. But, I was able to get a 1 pt lead after a And-One. But, the Rookie PG was able to get the GW FTs. I missed

The Rookie PG had a good game. I would say great, if he hadnt gone very cold in 2nd half. But, it didnt stray me away from him. He ended with 19ts and 8 assists. But, he did shoot 8-25 FGs. But, I can live with that because his attempts would be down with us.

Now it is a waiting game. I just have to hope they let me ask for that PG. His attempts were too much. But, I like the way he made decision and his passing was great. Rivers had 11 assists, but Demunyck seemed better at finding his guys. I still might ask for Maynor as a backup/backup plan.

Got my 1st POW award. I am in the Dunk Contest.

Playing for the Celtics is tough, even on All-Star/Default difficulty. I have to put up >24pts each game as a rookie Center and sometimes it's not even enough to get the win. Seems like every game is a game of shootaround.

Does Team Chemistry affect your teammate's play? Cause our Team Chemistry is at 67%.

34 games into my 3rd season and I finally got injured. Plantar Fascitis that only kept me out for 4 days. I missed 1 game. Seems that injurites are pretty rare in 2k13.

I might have to pass on that rookie PG. They didnt ask me for any trade suggestions before the ASW. I might look for another rookie PG next year. If there isnt one next year, I will ask for Demunyck. The main reason is that I dont want to ask for him if he is 80+ OVR. So now Im looking forward to next season with 6+ key games(plus playoffs). Since I got my ratings where I like it, I will just play 8 min quarters.

Thinking about it, Im not mad. Slightly disappointed, but not mad. We could have been a deadly PNR. He is a rich man's Austin Rivers. But, he is a better decision maker and passer. Most of Rivers Assists are spot up or rolling to the basket assists. When Rivers makes up his mind that he is going to shoot, there is nothing that can stop it. Where in the game, Demunyck passed up shots to pass it to the open man. Alot of times I am surprised when I see Rivers over 5 assists, because it doesnt feel like it. There will probably be another PG like him in next year's class. He did shoot 25 times. I think he went 1-14 in the 2nd half alone.

I actually want a Rondo-type of PG. We dont really need an additional scoring. We just need a defensive PG that can pass and make good decision, that can also make FTs. At this stage, Demunyck probably just added scoring and 6+ APG. He wasnt a bad defender, but he had a few seasons before he was a good one. What hurts us in games in our lack of defense at the PG spot in the entire game. Even if the opposing PGs arent scoring, they are having big effects in games.

Yeah they are rare. I'm half way through my 3rd season and I've never been injured. 2k should patch this. It takes away the realism from the game. They need to make our players more prone to injury.

I hate it how when you are up or down by 20 points with just a couple minutes left the coach still leaves you in the game after bringing all the other starters out. Also even when you in foul trouble they still keep you in there. Just doesn't make since.

Got our best team W of the season, along w/my best individual performance. Beat SA in their gym 100-91. Battled Parker all game, he finished w/27pts 5rebs. Only 2ast though, I kept him from creating for others which was key to the win. Held their next highest scorer to 11 (Manu on 3-10 FG). Kept TD to 11 on 3-8 FG as well.


I finished w/28pts 2rebs 15ast 1blk and 3 TO's. 11-18 from the field. Just efficient and got others involved all game. AD outplayed Duncan finishing with 19pts 12rebs 1blk on 9-12 shooting. Gordon got the best of Manu, put up 23pts to go w/8rebs. Aminu 8 pts 7rebs. Jason Smith just keeps showing up, and getting more mins lil by lil. Had 11 on 5-5, all spot up 15 footers. Anderson in a bad night shooting 1-6 still grabbed 9 boards.

Just a great win and def my best defensive effort on SS difficulty/Sim setting. Kept guys in check and got stops when I needed them.

Has anyone on PS3 experience problems with freezing after only playing Key Games? If you try to play a few regular games after has anyone experienced freezing? I did all key games after a month of playing regular games. Everything seemed cool until the Rising Stars game froze in the pregame load screen. Anyone?

Do you guys notice this as well, that sometimes your teammates are playing really good and not as crappy as usual.


I was once on a semi-fastbreak running to the hoop with players all around me and I get a behind the head pass from Lillard out of nowhere and I was able to score. That stuff is amazing. Sometimes the CPU shows how good they are but most of the times they make stupid decisions.

I wish they could play like this every game.

Got drafted no1 overall to New Orleans. Can't wait! But after my first game against Spurs it crashes to desktop. Gotta check my save file.

Just got my copy of 2K13 the other day. Made an All-Around SG, finished Rookie Showcase with 36 points / 6 rebounds / 5 assists / 1 Block / 2 Steals / 71% from the field and was drafted Round 1: Pick 6 with the Blazers (the highest I've ever gotten in 2K). I'm now about 10 games in and I've already taken Batum's starter spot. I gotta say I am loving MyCareer Mode right now.

Has anybody noticed an uptick in the amount of points you have to score as an individual for your team to have a chance at a victory post-patch? Before the patch I was averaging 24 ppg, I average nearly 28. I could choose when to score and how much to score pre-patch, now if I don't score early and often we have almost no chance at a W. A normal night used to be 16-30 points, 10-20 rebounds and 7-15 assists and it often ended in a W, now nights have to be 35-50 points, 10+ rebounds and 5-12 assists and sometimes no matter how much I try to give out assists, the CPU either does not take the shots I give them, they miss the shots I give them or they do something unnecessary to get their shot blocked and they weren't doing this before.

Against the Heat, I got to 19 assists with 4 minutes left to go in the 4th and the game tells me to break the team record in assists. I figure it'll be easy because I only needed 21 and the way my team was finally taking the open looks I was giving them I might as well roll with it. The coach goes completely stupid, moving Gordon to the 4, me to point, Sessions to 2, Williams to the 3 and Haywood to the 5. Williams can't shoot against LeBron, Sessions won't shoot, Haywood will only shoot scoop and reverse layups, no dunks even though he has a clear path to the basket, every shot Gordon puts up against Bosh is blocked because the CPUs super-ability to close out on shooters. I finally got to 20 assists with 1 minute left to go, that's when the CPU goes to rebounding every missed shot they have no matter how well they are boxed out, who they in there trying to get rebounds, who they're rebounding against or how outnumbered they are on the boards. We finally get the ball with 13 seconds left but by then the CPU won't even shoot the ball no matter how open they are. I hate how stupid the CPU gets when you are trying to break records or set season/career highs.
