Sooooo...regarding play vision again. I cant seem to get it to work. I start up the game and enable play vision to all/full as it has been advised in all the threads, offense plays to manual. Load up my career, have play vision on here also. But play vision still doesnt show up after selecting player/play during the game. What am I doing wrong?

Somewhere I read you have to buy a signature skill for that? Team chemistry has to be high enough?

Play vision is broken in MyCareer and you can only see it if you are the one initiating the play or on inbounds. So basically only PGs have play vision until the patch, it's the same every year

Has anyone else had any problems with some of the settings in my career ?? I tick cpu run plays but the cpu never runs plays and I always switch playvision on but I always have to pause the game and turn it on in the in-game settings.

Had my MyCareer freeze at the "Upcoming Schedule" screen in-game for the 2nd time now. This one hurts more because there's 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter with 12 min quarters going.

saw there was 225+ pages and I was on 25! ...

So I'm guessing everyone knows about the play art not being there! lol any word if this will be patched?

My only other 2 concernes are these:

1) Is anyone here good at blocking? In any mode? I have an "eraser" and have used guys in other modes with this (Shawn Kemp mostly) and Not only do I rarely get a block while focusing on it more than anything else... but I believe I've only seen one emphatic rejection in a game, and one other in black top. Is there something I need to understand to get more/better rejections?


2) Off-ball offense. I find it VERY hard to get open. I'm an athletic SF, but when I get the ball, I find it hard to get to the basket - fine...but I'm finding it TOO hard. In about 18 games I've only had 1 alley-oop dunk and 5 actual dunks max. I go to the rim and miss layups while being fouled quite a bit (even though I'm a 'finisher') which is fine, but I feel like I'm stuck in glue most of the time. It's almost like suction blocking in Madden, I'm boxed out near the 3 pt line or 5 ft in from it during many shots(shame because I'm hustle hands or whatever put-backs are for), AND before I shot I can't make cuts to the net, get behind opponents etc. I feel STUCK so much of the time with those engagement animations and can't ever break free. Any tips here I'd love to hear. I'm starting to think the only answer is going to be crazy high handles ratings which would suck, because that's not the case irl

Sorry forgot to mention I am PG of course and have set offense plays to manual in global settings so the cpu should not initiate plays afaik. But still no play vision, thats why im asking...

On my way to trying to get a triple double... had 10 pts 12 boards in the first half vs the T'Wolves.. 3 assists.. got the 4th early in the 3rd.. will Bass, Garnett and Pierce shoot and allow me to GET the 10 assists? No triple double.. ended up on the bench for a good portion of the 4th quarter, so a 16-17-8 game and a 93-92 loss. Got benched the last 18 seconds also after calling timeout after a defensive rebound.. "see that space down on the bench down there? That's yours" or something like that

Bought an 'Afterglow' controller from Walmart last week.. the thing already broke.. no.. not by throwing it or anything.. the left stick is 'wonky' .. player running all over the place after I try to make a move.. game menus scrolling in hyper speed .. oh well, it was marked down big time, back to the old white controller I bought a couple years ago for PC gaming

Hey guys I had a great game in My Career, it's the second NBA game of my player against the Utah Jazz, and it was a close game! First, we had the lead when I got subbed in.. then they slowly came back.. had like alot of lead changes.. finally in the 4th quarter, 20 seconds left.. Randy Foye made a jumpshot right to my face.. almost looked like a fadeaway but still went in.. I was like WTF??! So I was panicking.. they had the lead 98-97.. so I tried to foul him by stealing the ball from him as soon as he got the ball from out of bounds. But then, I just got the steal which surprised me, and the paint was open so I drived to the basket and got a monster dunk! I hit a game winner with a dunk! 98-99 and we were leading. There were still 2 seconds left, and Randy Foye got the pass from out of bounds and almost hit it from half court.. but it bricked anyway. My answer when the interviewers asked me about hitting the game winner, I said to them "it was a huge moment" lol.

I only had 9 points 4 rebounds 3 assist 1 steal in 14 minutes, but had a huge moment in only my second NBA game.

1. You need to raise "blocking" and "defensive awareness" on your slider if you are not seeing enough blocks.

2.I suggest dont sprint if your driving to the basket, UNLESS your gonna do a hesitation/cross over move or you see an open lane to the basket. Another thing I suggest is if you can't get open ever, why not set screen for your teammates? Not only will you help your teammate, it can help you get open, and it raises your teammate grade too. If you miss layups too often, maybe try raising your layup more. Shoot in traffic and vertical would help as well for your style of playing.

Hi all! I'm relatively new to nba 2k series, I bought 2k10 before but didn't try the myplayer mode. Finally decide to get my hands on the series again!

Wasn't use to the control so performed badly in the rookie impression game. Pretty much answered any interviews as though I want join all the teams. I'm a 6'4 all around PG. in the end got drafted 20th I believed to Denver nuggets.

Couldn't get use to the controls, attributes was pretty bad. Too bad for a lousy player like me. Played 2nd fiddler to Ty Lawson all
Season. Simulated a lot of games, slowly coming off the bench more and became the 6th man. But wow, Denver is a strong team. Surprisingly simulating games brought me more wins than losses. Ended up finishing 2nd in my
Division for the season 57-25 I think. Still playing 2nd fiddle. Made it to all rookie team 2 though (Agn surprisingly) averaging 9ppg 3apg whole season, pretty bad. PG-Ty SG-chandler SF- iguodala PF- faried C-McGhee damn strong teammate to play with. Front court is just Beast.

Got $10 to spare and spent it on VC. Got myself some improved shooting attributes and sig skills. Suddenly shooting way better. Knocking down jumpers everywhere. Sim and player some playoffs games along the way. Until I made an impression in one game knocking down 30plus PTs. got into starting line up
Next game and never look back. As a SG though! Hate Ty Lawson. Too many TO and I want to be a PG! Kept having bad calls for passes. I wan the ball. Lol

Swept 4-0 in 1st rd 4-1 in semis. 4-2 against clippers in conference finals. Paul
Was injureded. But Crawford is a tough guy to Handle! Too quick and good with his shots! Managed to win with my player insane shooting. I'm on pro difficulty still. New to the game might change next season.

Leading 3-1 in nba finals against heats. Dwayne wade is the toughest opponent I played against ( I have to mark) so insanely fast. And his alley oop with Lebron connects everytime single damn time! Sickening. Knocking down 40 - 50pts now. And when I get a cold streak, my teammates stepped up. McGee is a beast in offensive rebounds. Lost game 2 thanks to FT Miss by me with 10s left. Led by 3 and wade converted a last min 3 pointer to tie the game 119-119! Went OT And leading till last 10s before wade decide to Score a last sec 3pt again to win by 1 point.

Finishing up the finals and hopefully win. If still Can't get starting PG next season, I'm asking for A trade.

Sums up my first season. Probably increasing the difficulty level next season.
