The damn guards keep letting the opponents behind them. Anyways, I demand a trade to the Heat and get....the Pacers? I have to say though, it has Been fun. We play better defense on the break with George out there though I can't say I find Augustine all that good. Anyways, they have me in the starting roll with Hibberd on the bench. We are actually making headway.

What I do find annoying....other than the offensive rebounding issue, is that only my scoring is going up with my min. I averaged 11 rebounds from the get-go. Now I am at 12 though I playing 20 more min a game. I have my 15 rb game here and there but mostly I have to work my tush off for those rebounds. The game seems to decide that I will get 5 in the first quarter and no more until the 4th. I feel invisible out there! Guards drive the lane and Manage to avoid my block over and over again. I have one image where the ball is in the middle of my neck....not the edge or just touching...in the middle. No block. Hmmmmm. I think the program takes you out of the picture so to speak. In replays of blocks my arm will disappear.

Still love the game and look forward to the patch. Just wish I played more games for VC instead of cheese'n it up on the phone app or doing playoff sims.

I experienced the same thing on the Bulls, we were getting blown out every game because my team just couldn't play defense and I couldn't get many blocks as PF and rebounds were intermittent, but when I changed the game sliders to "simulation" the gameplay improved vastly we are 1-1 since I changed the sliders, we beat the Mavs by 20 points, I was able to get blocks when I should and rebound throughout the game.

Also I went against Bucks on "default" game sliders and Monta Ellis scored 54 points, and he scored 15 points before any of his teammates scored, he'd score on every freaking possession and even tight defense didn't make a difference. But the next game against the Bucks with "simulation" game sliders and it was way more realistic. Our defense made a difference and he only scored like 30 points.

Just broke another controller. Was leading the while game against the lakers and with finisher maxed out, closer maxed out, i couldn't make a layup to save my life. So coach takes me out with 7 minutes to go only to put me back in 2 minutes later and we lost a 4 point lead and now we're down 8. I flipped ****ing ape **** and threw my controller on the concrete and smashed

MyCAREER is making me pretty mad with how high scoring these games are. Through 60+ games, we've had 2 game where either team has scored less than 100 points. Every game both teams shoot between 55-60%, not exceptions. We averaged 112 points per game, we allowed 115.

Take note I played on HOF Default/Simulation playing 12 minute quarters. When I just played a game on 10 minute quarters, we lost 125-106. Same old thing. Does anyone have a combination that give you at least semi-realistic box scores and outcomes? In ther words, what are your game settings?

After having that blowout win, we lose 3 straight key games in blowouts losses. IN all the losses, we are close in the 1st half, then loss in the 2nd. Lead increases once I leave the court. When you are down by 10+, you dont play the same way you do normally. It is not the offense. It is controlling TOs, Opposing PFs going off, and transition. For me, taking bad shot are as bad as TOs. It seems like every team I face have good PFs that exploit Blair. As far as transition, we give up 10-15+ pts on transition buckets.

I like Blair, but I had to ask our GM for a backup PF. We trade Barker(finally) and next years 1st for a 7'0 PF/C who was the #2 OVR pick this year.We didnt have a 1st last year, none this year, and none next year. I think it is a good trade. I think at the least, we will be a "middle of the pack" team, so we might not have a lottery pick. He is a athletic 7'0 PF(78-79 Speed), 70 Block(Eraser skill), good hustle. He doesnt get much minutes because of our current backup PF Moultrie, despite having higher OVR. I also asked for a SF, but didnt make a trade. I want a starting SF. I am willing to trade Lee and Moultrie for a 25 and under SF who is 75+ OVR.

I think it is because of the bad transition defense by user teams, overpowered offense rebounding, players going off regularly.

            Wish we had sliders

You should try Slimm's Rosters. On average a game is about 20 points lower then with default rosters, and he already has the hidden players included, so many missing players are on their correct teams. Players actually have decent and expected stat-lines.

My last four games (on the Pistons) were all under 100 points and a realistic spread given.

I also play on Allstar/Sim - The only modifications I made to Slimm's roster was to give multi-year deals to Chris Paul, Dwight Howard and a few others I see constantly abandon their teams unrealistically after the first season.

The problem with Chris Paul and Dwight Howard is that 2k lowered their "Loyalty" ratings because they demanded trades, even though the consensus is that they will resign for max deals once their current contracts expire.

But that would mean I would have to start my MyCAREER all over again, I'm already in the Western Conference Semi-finals, I really don't want to start over again

Not sure. I think the top scorers are current guys. Rose, Westbrook, Durant are 30. Westbrook and Durant havent declined in OVR, but their PPG has declined to 24 & under. CP3 is on the Spurs. Not many of the current players retired(besides obvious ones like Kobe and Nash). Alot of the teams are completely different(besides star players).

One thing I did noticed is that 2k did a better job with generated players in draft. I see more busts in the top 5. More stars in the top 8-12 range. ATL has a rookie who drafted 18th as the best rookie scorer(78 OVR). But, teams dont always for need. Most of the time it is best available.

I am trying to go at least 12 seasons. I want to retire and go to Hall of Fame. This is currently my best season since I actually played my most minutes per game in career. I am avging 22.8 ppg, 8.8 apg, 2.5 steals, and 99% FT. As of right now, I have not had a HOF career because of my lack of true starter minutes. Before this season, I avged at most 30 mins per game. I want to win at least 2 titles. This team is probably 2 years away. But, I only have 2 years left on current contract. If we dont progress the way I like, I might walk next year. I want to retire around 32-34. I will have 3 All-Star appearances after this season. Have yet to be a 1st All-NBA team, but this year might be my 1st.

Another thing is that FA classes are HORRIBLE. Teams resign players like crazy. So, the only players that in FA are bums.

Hey guys, I need your help!

I bought 2K13 today and I am kinda new with all these new features in My Career. I now have a SG -3p specialist and I don't know what signature should I buy first. Is dead eye a good starter?

I really want to start a secondary career, but I am waiting for a patch. I definitely plan on using a Community roster. I am using a default roster(besides a few skill changes). So, I see alot of high scoring games.

Either that or Spot-up. A good one to save up for is Anti-Freeze.

I hear you. I finished 1 season for my PG, C and SF with default rosters to see which position would be the most fun for me. (In 2k11 it was SF, in 2k12 it was PG, and in 2k13 I am split between PG and C).

Since I am on the PC, my patch most likely will not arrive until April... and so that is why I began now with Slimm's roster. I waited for 2k's opening day roster, but we all know what a cluster that was.

If you do use default rosters, then the high scores are unavoidable if you prefer realistic gameplay.

I understand, but if you end up with a much less frustrating experience that gives you the stat-lines and better gameplay you enjoy much more, isn't it worth restarting now? if you keep going it will only get harder and harder to begin again... which you will need to do once the patch arrives anyways.

I am guess the console patches will be out around 11/20 and later. So, I will try to finish my PG career or play as long until my PG is 35.

I think having community roster would blend well into My Career. Mainly becaue there arent that many generated players over 90(think about 5). But, the only generated players that dominate is the big men.
