Umm... maybe I'm missing something but, how exactly do I create a brand new MyPlayer with a new name? Can't seem to find out where to go to do it.

From the home menu screen, go into My Player on the left, then down to edit My Player and go from there.

I saw this, but does it create another MC alongside my current one or does it overwrite it? Because I'd like to create a 2nd MC, not override my current one that I am happy with, I just wanna try a PF.

Why in the world isn't the option to create a brand new MC in the "New MyCareer" menu?? Ridiculous

This mode is losing its fun for me. I can only control a single player for so long. It has turned into a grind.

Well if you can deal with a player that looks the same and has the same name as your original, you can use the right thumbstick to bring up the menu and go to My Career and just pick new which will allow you to choose position, nickname and all that stuff.

SMH this is ridiculous. So there's no way to keep my current PG that I've spent 15k VC on and am happy with, and also have a completely new PF separately? Where's the logic in this?!?

Calm down, you can have 2 players...

Once you start a new career all you have to do is choose a new save file.

I have a shooting guard and a power forward...

How to beat the heat:

1-3-1 zone defense and guard that lane with your life.

Edit: also great for neutralizing offensive rebounds and 2nd chance opportunities.

Not to be obnoxious at all, but what is the step by step to create a new MC, new name for the player, and not have it overwrite the existing one? I DON'T see how.

Checking out my career stats, my stats are very average for 7 years. I have 7525 career pts. Mainly because 1st 3 seasons, I averaged under 10 pts. 4th year I got up to 17 ppg. But, in later seasons my minutes have been fluctuating like crazy. I probably avged under 30 min last 3 seasons. I want retire with at least over 20K pts. I dont want to retire with 15K pts.

I think I can do it, though. This is my 1st season avging over 20+(24). If I can continuely average over 24 for the next 5-7 seasons, I can get over 20K.

Also checked my stats. I have 865 total steals and 3453 assists. I am okay with my steals. I want to end my career with over 1600 steals. My assists is lower than I want to because my minutes havent been consistent for the last couple seasons, besides this year.

I want to end up in top 25 in career points, assists, and steals. After checking real life steals, I am on path for all 3. I am 2785 assists away from top 25 career assists, so I am well ahead of schedule. I am 743 steals away from top 25 steals, so I am ahead of schedule. The only thing I am not in schedule for is points. I am over 15K+ away from top 25 points. I have a chance I avg over 25 pts for the next 7 plus seasons.

I am interested to play my next key game, especially since it will be the 1st time playing with our new lineup. Even though Blair was a liability on defense(size), he was good asset to our team mainly because of his rebounding and brick wall skill. His ability to set great picks was something that really improved our offense. I waited 6 seasons to play with someone who had brick wall skill. But, I do like that our lineup has more length with a 7'0 PF and a 6'10 SF. I already played with the PF in brief stints and I played against the SF once.

I just started a new career and got drafted to the Blazers. I'm a pg and they actually play me at pg 95% of the time lol

You can't have a new name, the name will be the same as your myplayer, if you want to change the name, it will affect both. Your players will share accessories.

Bring the main menu, where you choose the game mode, options, etc... And choose mycareer and pick new.

Like I said, you won't be able to change your name, but you'll be able to create a new player with a different position, different height, weight. Just choose a different save file so you don't overwrite your point guard.

If you want to change your name, choose myplayer and then edit myplayer.

I finally cracked the starting line-up with the Cavs and we've won the first two games I've played.

I really hate being 6'10 now. I get subbed at PF a lot and I can't handle the opposing PF that much. I get torched defensively.
