When do you get the option to select players you want on your team? I remember doing it once already waaay in the begining of the year and no moves were made..

I got my starting job back with final key game of the season being the last of my 6th season. I might just play 5 min quarter to just get the year over with. But, I want to see how our team looks. Even though we gave up a top-10 pick, the 70(+2) Center we got was a #2 OVR pick last year. I think both of our Centers we traded for this season was #2 OVR picks in their own classes. The reigning ROY SG we traded for was a #12 pick last year. I like Blair since he can reb and he does have the Brick Wall skill. I also like John Jenkins as a shooter. So, we have the talent but have to progress as a team.
Our main problem now is bench. We had a solid frontcourt before we traded away Hibbert and Jordan Williams. I like the backup Center we got(but still mad about that pick). So, our main need in frontcourt is a tall PF that can rebound. If we can get a starting SF, that will automatically make our bench good. Because John Jenkins and Courtney Lee would come off bench.

My first game this season as a starter with this new roster went well. We blew out the Pistons. I really like this roster. Better than I imagined. SG Ewing(ROY) isnt the athletic defensive player that George was and he doesnt have the 3pt George had, but he is more of a natural scorer than George.
I have one more key game since I got my starting job back. I am a lock for my 3rd 6th man of the year award.

We ended the season off with a solid win against Wiz. Even though it was only 5 min quarters, I am really looking forward to next year. I might not ask for trades next year.

Like all of the other FAs, it was a terrible class. Basically the same players that have been there last few years and only one over 69 OVR. I think the problem with FA is that once we get opportunity to do it, all of the good FAs are gone. Because there is no way that for the last 3 years every player is resigning because I see players declaring for FA. But, I did notice that they CPU does extending most of the teams contracts.

is there a reason why some attributes are capped at less than 99? is this just because of the role you choose? can it ever be increased?

just pissing me off that some of my stats that I want to max out and i can only get to 85 or 75

That could be interesting.. create a Charles Barkley sized.. rebounding superstar with the speed of Rondo if not for capping attributes.. makes sense to me that they'd cap it

Yeah ratings are capped based on position and playing style.

I may have to give up on myplayer be because my ratings are permanently all down 5-7 points in all my skill stats. It only effects those and not physical.

No one can explain why and it is making playing any level above pro really difficult.

Switch the game style to Sim instead of Default.. I had the same problem in Default and nobody seemed to have an answer, or didn't care to answer.. I created the SF I've mentioned lately and have been in Sim instead and haven't had that problem anymore with attributes in-game not being what it said on the upgrade pages anymore

Really looking forward to my 7th season. My team played well in my last 2 key games. My starting teammates are locked in for the next 2-3 years. The pick we traded away to Dallas was a 5th OVR pick that was a SF. We had a need a SF(still do). But, I am not mad. He is 70-73 OVR with high potential, but he not much of a scorer or defender at this point, so I am glad how it all turned out.

We need a SF and backup PF(bad). Like I said before, I am afraid to ask the GM. I dont want to risk trading away a starter. Ewing(6'3 SG) is starting at SF and is 82 OVR, so it isnt a big deal. But, I would like someone 6'6+ so, we could move Jenkins to our 6th man. But, our major need is backup PF. I want to go after the PF we traded away last year(Warren) or a PF Dallas has since they just signed Blake Griffin, but I dont want to trade trade away a starter. Rather trade away another 1st pick(dont have one this year). I might not ask for any players. I might just let the season play out. Our backup PF is on rumor list and morale is down. I am hoping we trade away him, Devin Harris(35), and a generated SF that sucks for a backup SF behind Ewing, backup PF behind Blair, and a backup behind me.

I have to start thinking about a title. I wasnt concerned about it in 1st 6th seasons because I didnt have the roster I liked. We still need some depth at positions, but we do have a really good starting lineup. Scorers on the wing and 2 good rebounding Big men(both 92+ Off/Def Reb and 90+ Hustle). Our 2 Centers are similar in category. Same height, good low post/blocking(80+), both was #2 OVR picks. Just that the starter is a better offensive player and better rebounder. Not only does Blair provide Rebounding(94+Off/Def Reb), having the Brick Wall Skill is huge. Not just for PNR, but for setting screens. Since we have 3 backcourt players(including C.Lee) that can shoot mid range or better, having a guy that can set powerful screen will lead to alot of open shots.

The identity of this team has changed in the last 2 seasons. We went from a athletic fast paced team that can get to the basket or foul line(78+% FT as a team), to a half court team. I think it can help perserve my fatigue levels. I will still try to get FB opportunities and drive to the basket, but not as much. We are also not the same defensive team. Our SGs(both starting) we got last year are scorers. They are terrible defenders, but not like we use to be. But, we do have Courtney Lee coming off the bench and do have 2 above average defending Centers.

I am in my 1st season and my GM has already asked me twice. The 1st time was a few games in the season. The 2nd time was a few games before the ASW. FYI, I am playing SF for the Trail Blazers, 81 overall rating.

like I said, my quickness is already 96 but I'm still really sluggish at reacting with passes and catches, turning and running, stopping and going, etc

One thing I noticed is that in the future there isnt a lot of good young SFs in draft classes. There are good PGs, SGs, SOME PFs and Centers. But, I havent seen that many good SFs at all. I think there is only like 3 generated SFs over 80 and 2 of them are on the same team(both 92 OVR). I tried to go after one of them, but kind of glad I didnt.

I got a 77 6'8 SF with 95 dunking and vertical with my Raptors 12th pick !!

Seems like he was one of the top 5 picks actually and i got lucky, his shooting is weak though. DeRozan was injured and he avg 10 pts and 4 boards a game in like 28 minutes avg over 8 games.

There was another 6'8 SF (funny enough they were both names Kennedy) who was less athletic but a terrific scorer. Was like 77 or 78 as well.

Guess its just random, there was an defensive SG as well rated very high, he is gonna make my life a living hell when i play him (i'm an sg as well)

My center has been playing very well so far. I actually demanded a trade and landed on the Raptors. They gave the 76rers Landry Fields. I am starting, which I am excited about.

So far, I need to refine my rebounding, strength, and blocking. I had a tough battle with Tim Duncan that ended with him scoring on me easily. However, the next game, I embarrassed Omer Asik with 30 points and 21 rebounds and 3 blocks.

Our record is 4-11 and needs to improve. I blame this on the fact that Bargnani is injured and is our best deep threat. Terrence Ross hasn't really played aggressively which is painful since we have no bench scoring,

Sg: Terrence Ross
Sf: Demar DeRozan
Pf: Amir Johnson

10 games into the season and me and my wizards are 9-1. Only game we lost was against the celtics. Garnett went off and had like 40 points on 17-25 shooting.

Now I am waiting for a patch as commentary will be missing after a while and the CPU refuses to inbound the ball which leads to my ps3 crashing.

I think it's random. I have been playing in Sim since the beginning and this problem happened. I only recently switched to default and then back to sim to see if it made a difference and it did not.
