Sorry if this has been asked. 200+ pages a lot to go through. Tried playing my career and it said the file is damaged and can't load. Disappointing because I got my player up to about a 84 overall. Obviously I earned and spent a lot of VC. Since my players career is essentially broken, does that mean all that VC was wasted for nothing?

Whatever VC you spent to upgrade him, unfortunately, is gone. One of the main reasons I'm not a huge fan of the implementation of Virtual Currency....

Finally got a 'Player of the Game' award.. in a 99-90 win at Detroit 17-9-6 with a steal.. first quarter I had 4 turnovers on a couple passes that went haywire, and losing the ball trying get to the hoop from the free throw line.. only shot 6 of 10 and worse yet 5 of 9 for free throws. Played 29 minutes and for some reason most of those were at the power forward spot *6'7 215 lb PF!.. Garnett only played 27 minutes.

Still a bit mad at 2K for not fixing the Rookie Stats page.. not letting us sort stats, and only ranking by PPG.. I like to know where I stand amongst the rookies the first season with the rebounds and assists now that I'm getting them. Probably way too into the league stats etc in games, but that's just how I am with games, and real life sports too.

I had the 'My Player' file disappear.. 3 separate times after game updated stuff.. had to create that again after it said it was damaged.. BUT I could go into the 'My Career' menu and still load the career player load after creating a new 'My Player' file.. this was with skill points rather than VC if that matters

If you play on pc they do

I play on PC as well and they don't change for me. I tested it out by sliding mine all the way to 100, and the CPU's all the way to 0. They work if I do a quick game, but don't transfer over to my current My Career.

Do you have to do it before creating the My Career?

Can you Sim "any" and or "all" games in this mode or do you still have to play the key games? I'd love for once, to get past year 2 in this game but just don't have the time to play all the games and frustrated I had to foul out of games last year. Really, just wanna play a couple games than the playoffs.

I'd love for once, to get past year 2 in this game but just don't have the time to play all the games and frustrated I had to foul out of games last year. Really, just wanna play a couple games than the playoffs.

You have to play the key games some teams have barely any though.

You have to use the cheat engine to change the sliders

i am getting so tired of the bug that freezes the game in the 4th quarter with usually ~5mins left. the animation for 'what games are coming up' freezes pretty often for me on ps3 and it's so gd annoying. it usually happens when i'm having an amazing game (as luck would have it).

Is it just me or i can't get my contact lay ups to go in at all. Even with finisher equipped and 95 layup, shoot in traffic, inside and close range scoring in the 85 i still can't get my contact lay ups to go in. Even with the slightest bumps from one defender my player just goes into an awkward shooting position and misses it. I really wanna drive the lane and shoot since im really getting bored of doing jumpshots but it's just really irritating how i can't get any of em even if the opposing team's paint defense was very minimal.

I usually play every game.. but accidentally chose the next KEY game this time.. oops.. Boston vs Orlando.. I get subbed INTO the game with 5:11 left in the 1st as usual.. and Orlando is up 21-0 .. wtf?? 0 points in 7 minutes of play.. not even a free throw (ok, so I'm the only one on the team that usually GETS free throws, shooting 80% of the teams free throws) KG 0-2 Pierce 0-4 Bass 0-5 and Rondo 0-1 shooting when I get in.. talk about a wasted game

My bad, I just tried and it didn't work on me either.

It's weird though I can see the other stats just fine, only the rookie one not working

In this game down 21-0 when I entered.. my SF can't rebound, gets pushed out of the way on every missed shot... nobody will shoot when he passes to them.. the game completely changed with me going to the next key game by accident.. oh.. and my SF blows layup after layup on the road still 8 points on 3 of 10 shooting and that's LEADING the team in points down 55-38 near halftime

Starting to notice that all of the old dribbling off feet turnovers have become kicked balls.. regardless of if you're being guarded or it's a loose ball.. instead of fixing the problem they just added way too many kicked ball calls.. BUT it's not a turnover anymore anyway

Game tied at 79's now.. after the 21-0 deficit to start.. I guess the Celtic teammates just didn't want to play defense until I got in.. or rebound until I got in.. can barely get a defensive one with KG and Bass all of a sudden getting them all the 2nd half..

After coming back and winning by 10.. I had a B- grade.. i get subbed out with 2 minutes left and back in with 24 seconds.. I'm supposed to inbound the ball and the game doesn't let me throw the ball in.. lost the grade down to C+ with that.. couldn't call timeout with none left since it happened before I was subbed out and I called timeout to get away from that one.
