I'm reading that there's a problem with re-signing with your own team? Is this only at the end of your contract, or is it impossible to even sign an extension? I'd like to know because I'm in the final year of my rookie contract and I think I'd like to re-sign.

The game freezes if you try to sign an extension. Before I deleted my first MyCareer, I try to sign a contract extension with Memphis, and the game freezes 3 times and haven't gotten a chance to resign at the end of the season.

My non-starting player is my SF for the Celtics.. started 14 straight.. came off the bench one.. started like 5 now can't get back into the starting lineup.. not a PG..

It's like the game reverted to 2k12 in some ways in this first game in a week.. errant passes .. up to 10 turnovers in the game vs the Grizzlies now.. and where I was making 4th quarter shots the last 8-9 games, not anymore... Twice in this game it's gone back to the old defense running me out of bounds turnover even. Obviously gonna play another game after to see if it's just a one game thing or if I have to figure out how to play around what's now happening

Last thing. Is the freeze irreversible? Like, will it ruin my game if I try to sign, or do I just load the game again and I can just wait till the off-season?

It won't ruin your MyCareer. Yeah, just wait for the off-season to resign with the team.

Can't say enough how much I love the pre-game "commercials" that have gameplay footage spliced together with a song from the soundtrack. Love the "I Ain't No Joke" one, the "World Is Yours" one with the ball as a globe, and my favorite is probably the one with Viva La Vida, it just sets the mood perfectly. I've even lately been having my player featured in the footage, which has never happened before until recently.

Hooked on this mode.

Revenge is sweet. I just beat the Heat 121-98 to tie the season series at 1-1. In the first meeting LeBron and D-Wade killed us both dropping 30+, the role player made it rain from downtown going 13-31 from 3pt range.

This time they were undermanned, starting LeBron at 4 and Ray Allen checking me at the 3. It was safe to say that that(Ray v Me) was a mismatch, he couldn't stop me on the boards, I grabbed a career high 18(6 off) rebounds, scored 26 points and dished out 12 assists. Gordon dropped 22, Thomas had 16 and 10, Mullens had 26 and 8, but Walker had 8, 5 and 8 due to the fact D-Wade had him in foul trouble because he kept dunking on him.

Wade finished with 31, LeBron had 20, 7 and 8 and Bosh had 17 and 6. The Heat as a team shot 25%(3/12) from 3, we forced turnovers and got them in foul trouble. We forced The Big Three to try and beat us, holding the rest of the team to 30 points.

Has anyone have problems playing PG and you start playing other positions (SF and PF)?

I have a 6'3" PG and I don't fit the requirements of playing a SF or PF lol.

It's almost like 2K12 all over again when I play with the Nuggets lol.

Great post. I love those kind of games. Such a satisfying feeling knowing you stepped up and took it to a great team.

As a 6'3" PG I play almost strictly SG. I have been subbed in at PF before, if some of my teammates get in foul trouble.

Why is it, that when I give a GREAT pass my players are too stupid to properly grab the ball and I get the turnover? They got 2-4 seconds to grab it but are still losing it.


My passing is high, my hands are high, I got Floor general 2/3 and Finisher 2/3.

Also when I receive a ball and pump fake I lose it because the guy jumps in the air... doesn't make sense.

Also on defense, when they perform a pick and roll the switching on the screens is horrible. I don't mind following the big guy going to the hoop but when I do follow my teammate is following him as well.

When I don't follow the guy going to the hoop my teammate doesn't. Give me a break.

lol ya, so regardless of that, you get charged with the "allow opponent to score" deduction on teammate grade.

I hate on defense, how it seems like my guy gets screened regardless o where he is on the court. Opponents screen my guy so that I don't get the rebound(but my other teammate can), they screen him so that they would no longer be open for a wide open shot, and stuff like that.


Has mycareer gotten easier or harder with the patch?

What place was your team seeded?

Hey mate, I was seeded 4th in the west, beaten by T'Wolves who were seeded at 5.
