If you want to really REALLY impact your team's chances of winning....max out BRUSIER! I go around setting picks or just running into people. I am like a freaking stamina vampire. Oh sure, they may be hot in the first or secon half....but come the last 6 mins of the quarter...they are gassed. I got to guard Durant in the last game. He hit some tough shots early but my lockdown defender ability took his offensive digs away. He was chucking up clunkers at the end. Better yet, he had nothing left to guard me. My last 5 shots were all dunks of the "he will feel that in the morning" variety.

As a 6'3" athletic PG, I actually gave this thought but didn't think it'd be useful for my position. But you've made me reconsider. It actually makes sense.

Got the starting nod at the 1 for NOH after 5 games. Avg'ing 17ppg 4.4apg 1bpg 1spg. Having a real hard time tolerating Gordon though. Just now he dribbled the clock down, doing stupid crossovers and spins repeatedly. Refusing my call for the open 3 to the point I lose a WHOLE GRADE for "bad call for pass" then with the clock at 1 he gets stripped and allows an easy fast break. This made me so mad just now. It's like he is purposely sabotaging the offense or something. DEFINITELY gonna discuss this with the GM.

I'd like Vasquez to start at the 2 or even 1 alongside me. He actually makes good decisions with the ball. But it seems my ascension into the starting 5 has affected his mins the most. Hmmm.... Time for Gordon to go under the bus lol.

Man, this is why I hate Sessions, he'll do this every time he gets the ball when he's in the game. When he comes on the court and Walker isn't in, I'll force them to run the offense through me. I've gone to the GM at least 10 time trying to get him traded but he's still on the team.

I LOVE being gordon's back court mate. I run him off screens off day and with my dimer and floor general skill and his closer and microwave skill we are a monster back court combo. Dude is averaging 30 in my career.

The key is to not let him run pick and rolls and isos. Call plays where he is coming off screens like the low post play hawk drop 4 or something like that. That dude will catch and shoot if open off the screen and if not, he'll make a good decision and penetrate

I love that kid lol. I can get 10 assists a game just off calling the right plays for him

Actually you know what, Gordon isn't so bad after all. In addition to making more of an effort to get him kick outs, I've actually started hitting him out on the break a lot more. For some reason after misses or turnovers I noticed he always breaks out at top speed. So I figured hey, why not see what he'll do with it in the open court since in the half court set he's so bad with the ball and shot selection.

Lo and behold he became a new man lol. He aggressively attacks the rim and converts and 1's, actually makes decent passes to cutters and will even pull up for a J on the break. He still has his "Iso Obsession Possessions" here and there, but much less, and now I'm even enjoying playing with him.

Good thing I didn't have that GM sit down yet. Now I just need to get Vasquez more time, poor guy lost his starting spot and is down to 9 mins/game due to my emergence.

This doesn't make any sense. Got minutes taken away. Just finished game 1 2nd round against #1 seed Chicago. We lost in double overtime by 3. I had 37 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. I shot 17-24 and 3-3 on free throw line. And I only had 2 turnovers in 41 minutes double overtime game. I check the rotation after the game and my minutes are down to 26 and I'm out of the starting line up!!?? Lmao wtf? I went to the GM and complained about the playing time. He agreed. Now I got it at 31 minutes and back in the starting line up. I don't get this.

LOL!

But one thing I forgot to mention when I first posted. I forgot that I DID mess with Gordon's tendencies before I started this career. I wanted to play with the hornets so I made sure to up his "pull up" tendency before I started then played the showcase until I got drafted 10th.

but he's still a good player to have in the backcourt with you even without changing his tendency. kickouts and screens and DEFINITELY in the open court. The dude is a monster lol

Nah this has never happened to me. I've received the "Take the lead by the end of the ___ qtr" and had the coach sub me out before I could do it many times but the "Bring your team within 5-10 points" goal has ALWAYS forced me to stay in the game ....

Perhaps it is because I use a community roster, but my game plays totally different then yours. Which is good, because it seems yours is more flawed then mine.

Edit: I received the 10pt goal in the game I just finished. I got the goal at the 8:39 mark of the 3rd quarter. I stayed in the game the entire 3rd from that point, but started the 4th on the bench. once I was substituted back in the 4th, I stayed in the entire quarter.

So, maybe there is a bug ... idk for sure either way now.

Does the called play cancel out after you set up for a screen? Also related - Any broken plays noticed? (Both of these are issues on the PC play calling).

Also, does the added effect to your designed shoe still bug out after wearing them the first game? ( You need to re-equip your shoes every game for the +5 layup (or whatever you chose) to take effect.

no you dont, mine didnt work for my first 8 games, played my 9th today with new patch and it worked.
