My Center plays for the Raptors. You should consider them. Kyle Lowry is second in the league in my career with 10.9 apg. DeRozan is a stud as well. We recently traded for Rudy Gay so now this team is a contending squad.

Athletic PG that got traded to the Lakers. I thought the Lakers could use some defense and athleticism so I increased my speed, quickness, on-ball D, and stealing ability (79 OVR now). We're half-way through the season and this has been the most fun I've been having since 2k11 my player, lol. Right now i'm averaging:
14.2 PPG
8.1 APG
1.2 SPG
45% FG
38% 3PT FG

Tryna keep it real as possible and making sure Pau, Kobe, and Dwight all get their touches. The only problem I have so far is that our starting SF is Antawn Jamison instead of Metta. Dude is so slow and we get killed by EVERY opposing SF smh.

Well as far as Lowry goes, he was averaging 18 ppg before the trade, 16 ppg after. As for contention, I believe we were right around .500 before the trade and now we are on a 6 game winning streak.

Also, DDR was averaging 24 ppg before the trade and my center was just starting to get consistent playing time.

good enough for me, if we go on a losing streak and the gm asks me for some suggestions for trades who should i ask for to help us develop without getting rid of any major players we have.( lol getting ahead of myself, i have only played 3 games for the rockets so i havent even requested the trade.)

I was able to get Rudy Gay for Landry Fields and Jonas Valanciunas. Landry Fields was perhaps the worst starting SF in the league and JV was redundant with me there. SF is arguably Toronto's weakest position so if and when that time comes for you, I'd request some mid level small forwards.

Also its extremely difficult for me to get a good teammate grade. As an Athletic PF I was doing pick&rolls all day long and got an easy A+ but now i have the all-around SF I can barely get an C+

Your grade gets boosted a lot for rebounding, good shot defense, blocks, and the easy scores. It's actually pretty difficult to get your grade lowered as a 4 or 5. With a small forward you won't be getting many rebounds, steals in this game are rare, user fastbreaks are rare, contact layups are damn near impossible, and bad shots lower your grade.

Decided I'm gonna ask the GM for Mahinmi or Drummond instead of D Jordan or McGee. The Bulls just don't have the cap space to get one of these two without giving up either Boozer, Deng or Noah.

I don't think it would work out if I had to give up any of those players as I would have no ability to choose someone to replace them.

Did you boost Drummond's OVR before starting your MP? If so, he'd be a good choice. Mahinmi is a good backup as well. You'd definitely be able to get him without losing any important assets. Keep us posted!

I take back what I said about the PG selected #3 right after the Center we drafted. When I described him before, he was injured so I didnt account for the ratings drops. I knew he was 75(now 77 +2) when he was healthy. But, whew his ratings jumped once I checked it. I was just looking at Rookie Scoring and I saw he was 3rd with 19 PPG. I was like, I thought he was a dud. But, he is good. His shots are 76 and below, but I could care less. He has 86 pass(so possible future Dimer), 77 steal, 87 Off AWR(so possible future floor general), and okay on ball defense(75, better than our PGs).

Forget about Eric Maynor, I want that PG. Eric Maynor is a better scorer at all phases and better on ball defender(+9). But Demunyck(the PG from Turkey) is better passer(+10), better stealer(+25), more speed(+3), better off awareness by a mile(+43), better vertical(+14). They both have identical height and weight, ball handling. I would take either of them over Austin Rivers, but I prefer Demunyck. I am willing to give up anyone and any pick, other than Davis, Gordon, Wilson Chandler. I prefer to give up the rookie Center(doesnt want to be here anyway) and Rivers or one of them and a 1st.

Having him in our lineup would solidify our starting five. It would be Him, Gordon, Wilson Chandler, Davis, and Me. All 26 and under. That is a contending lineup. Heck, I would want him and Maynor on our team. He is rotting away at Thunder only getting 9 mins per. I can only imagine having Maynor, Anderson, and Darius Miller coming off the bench. We could be a championship team within 2 seasons. I would be willing to give up Rivers, Aminu(keep forgetting he is on team), Saunders(rookie C) and a 1st pick to get those pick. We wouldnt need to give up a 1st, since all 3 were top 8 picks. We also need a backup SG, I dont like Henry.

But, I do want to play a game against his team(ORL) before I ask for that trade. It is almost a rule to me. I have to play a game against them before I ask for the trade to see how they play. I dont want to be disappointed. In my PG career, I think there was only 2-3 players I didnt see play before I ask for a trade. I think it was Hickman(a PF) and the Hunt brothers(not brothers). But, we dont play them in a key game. So the next time a game against ORL is within 2 games after a key game, I will play the games between them. I have the time since we are 13-7 and having been winning the non-key games.

I want to wait until I play a game, but I could ask for him now. I dont dislike Rivers as a Player, I just dislike him as a starter and PG. But, yea I have to check schedule to see when the next time i play ORL.

I dont have to much time. He has high potential. So I would like to trade for him now while he is under 80, so we dont have to break the bank to get him. I dont want to tank games. We are 2nd in conference with 13-7(after ending with worst record in league). Actually I dont have to tank games since we cant win games anyway. I just want to lose simulated.

The main thing I want to see with the PG is how he scores. He is 3rd in Rookie in Scoring and his shots(including Shot Inside) are all below 76. But, he does have 80+ Shoot Off Dribble, Layup, and Off Awareness. I want to see if it is just sim stats or if he can really score. He is top 10 in LEAGUE in Usage % in Metric Stats. We dont really need a scorer, but it wouldnt hurt. I just want a true PG. But, I want to see his tendencies.

I was checking his stats on nba2k.com. He is a starter. He avgs 6.8 makes and 16.2 shot attempts. He avgs 5 3pt attempts. The main problem I see is that he shoots 41 FG% and 2.9 TOs. But, I think that is just sim stats. With 86 Pass and 87 Off Awr, I dont think he will turn over the ball alot. But that FG % shows that he does shoot alot with his below average shot ratings. I will just have to see how he plays before I make any judgements.

When i key game it my scoring sg only average round 13 points 77ovr any tips on what to boost so when i key game he averages more

I'm assuming it's the same as it was in 2k12. If you manually shoot more in games, your shot tendency would go up, which means your MP would take more shots in simulated games, thus leading to scoring more points.

I do if I notice the other team can't shoot from the outside or have no interior players. But I don't play it for very long. Seems like the CPU can exploit it after awhile.

Same here. I don't run the same defense the whole game but it's good to change things up during the game. Keep giving the offense a different look throughout the game or which ever defense works best against a certain team. And since some star players like LBJ or Melo go crazy on me then it might be good to run zone defenses against them so I won't have to guard those guys the whole game.

Does anyone else enjoy controlling the game as a pg in others ways than scoring? I love doing it and helps keep my PPR and PER metrics stats up which define the best PGs and. So far my pg is averaging 7ppg and 4ppg on 53%fg and 43%3pt fg. Thanks to tblack228 I found a play style best for me to create myself.

I love it when I can just facilitate, play D, and just watch players go to work offensively. My most enjoyable games are when I score 10-12 pts and guys like Gordon and AD go off.

Anyone else like me, who go to *unreasonable* lengths to keep it realistic? For example, I can very easily buy fancy dunk packages and shooting forms, but instead searched hours(literally hours lol) for a shooting form and shot base that mirrored my real life shot... Also, my 6'3" 210lb PG is my height/weight and I have only and will only ever equip "Rimgrazers Off One" "Basic One Handers Off One" and "Basic One Handers Off Two" as my dunk packages because I was never able to do more than those in real life. LOL seems ridiculous but I love doing this.

It's as close to "me" being in the NBA as possible. lol
