Missed, or had blocked, 11 layups vs the Knicks..3 of them offensive rebounds that the signature hustle skill should have helped in the putbacks.. shooting 4 of 15 from the field.. 7 of 8 free throws ..

In-game attributes still messed up as well.. everything down 2-3 points from what it really is while playing a game, though I've mentioned this many times, it's not because of a positive or negative arrow on my player card thing because there isn't one, just wrong attributes.. home OR away doesn't matter, while actually playing the game..

I finally caved and bought the finisher sig skill after blowing multiple layups against the Lakers.

How do see if your attributes are down?

Check your player card from the main My Career window.. and look at your stats.. then check your when you're in the box score for a game go to the game's box score.. and click the right stick on your player.. go to attributes and then hit Y to see the number rating for each "skill" your overall likely will be a few off of your actual after a handful of career games. current game, I just fouled out with most of the 4th quarter left up by 17, my real overall is 69.. my in-game overall is only 66 .. all stats.. shot inside.. shot close.. free throws, rebound attributes..are all off at least 2 if not more from what they're supposed to be since I'm not being punished for being injured or anything.

Shot 4 of 20 in the game I just fouled out of with over 10 minutes left in the 4th.. played man up on Carmelo.. or attempted to and picked up a few fouls, then got over the back fouls trying to rebound some of my missed layups. Still finished with 19 pts 17 boards and 7 assists. Only a C grade since he scored most of his 28 points on me. Still got another 'player of the game' award without playing most of the 4th.

Press conference luckily only mentioned my rebounding and not all the missed shots.. can't wait to see the social media ripping on the shooting

How's your team chemistry? Is there a player whose morale is down? They could be dragging you down as a team.

Team morale is up to 80%.. it's done this on all 3 of the careers I made.. PG, SG and now SF.. it took 20 games with the SF before it started happening.. almost like I was upgrading too fast so it knocks you down in games.

Paul Pierce is now majorly p.o'd. with a red arrow and -15 to his overall but that's from me taking his starting spot I'm sure.. which wouldn't affect ME missing 16 layups in one game all of a sudden. The rest of the starters (Besides me.. I've never had a bonus to my overall in 2k, only a negative for injury in 2k12) all have green positive arrows and points to overall and half the bench does.

Nevermind on Pierce.. the in-game didn't say it but after going to the injury screen he's out 2 weeks hurt so that doesn't hurt anything

Damn, that sucks then. I don't know what to tell you on 2k13, hopefully it'll correct itself. The only time I had something like this happen was in 2k11, I had to save SP to raise the skills that were affected back to their original level.

BUT.. they're not affected on my attributes OUT of a game.. others have mentioned it also.. attributes go back to normal on the upgrade screens and on my out of game player card.. which is what is so messed up about it

They want me back, but I think not, I'll give them a 2nd championship this year and leave LeBron and Dirk to it. I wanna play for my Knicks since Melo left them for PHX this past offseason.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1354180384.699339.jpg

that's one of my favorite endorsements. it's simple but cool. mine was with the clippers and yeah right like it's gonna happen!

3rd season and i just won mvp, mip, scoring title, most 3pts made, 1st team nba and i finally was able to make a custom shoe. the only thing that really burns me about this mode this year is that the stupid contracts are in vc. i could even forgive the vc contracts if they gave you more once you're playing out of your mind. as a 2 time champion (assuming i finish out this playoff run) and all the other accolades i've gotten i should definitely be a max player. getting a 500-750vc contract for 4yrs is sorta stupid when my rookie contract was 600~vc. i feel like if you've played 3 full seasons vc doesn't matter in terms of building your character but you could unlock other stuff that would make the game more fun. also, if you just sim thru seasons by only playing key games then you'd obviously be offered a lower contract just due to stats/overall player rating. let's say you even spent $ on vc and got your guy to a 99 rated player, it'd be nice to get a little return on your emotional investment in the game.

oh well. i know it's hard to please everyone but i feel like this is one of the biggest oversights the 2k team has made. not to mention the horrible nonexistent customer support. i still have a save file that i foolishly spent actual $ on that freezes after the playoffs in the 3rd season and 2k could care less.

anyways, i'm digressing. TIME TO BEAT HOUSTON IN THE SEMI's!

when do you get your own signature sneaker? do you have to have certain amount of fans or local fans?

I have a big question. Why is it that my player can't spin dunk?

I have the package, 80 dunking, 99 vert. He'll ALWAYS do a spin layup.

I've seen clips of people who just started the rookie showcase with an athletic PG and they can already spin dunk. Mine is an athletic SG, 6'9 and still can't spin dunk? Did I just waste my time and stats by buying the useless spin dunk animation package?

Just went to play next key game and Dirk is out for 4-6 weeks with a broken ankle, and Kamans out 2-4 weeks. In a month which I have about 10 key matchups

I plan on starting my 7'0 athletic PF/C tonight. I got the roster on my to use, so I expect the high scoring games to be decreased. I am being 7'0 instead of my usual 6'10 for PFs, so I can play both positions.

I already have my plan for him. Block, Strength, FT(to 80+), Hustle, Def Reb, Dunk, SIT, Shot Inside & Close, Post Hook. Between one of those, Eraser, Brickwall, and Scrapper.

I still plan on playing my PG career. But with my PF, I dont plan on only playing key games(at least until I get my player where I want).
