    Thanks!
    Also, complete the tutorials.
As a rookie in mycareer, it's not what you want or think your player can do.
It's how your player can help the team win. Setting screens, grabbing some boards. The best advice I could give someone starting out is on defense, instead of jumping to block, just hold the right stick up when your opponent is shooting. You'll still get teammate chemistry credit (or whatever it's called) for contesting and your opponent won't make you look like a fool when he pump fakes.

Remember that stupid team records glitch from last year? Looks like its back this year too. Smh I'm glad its not happening to you guys.

It wouldn't be a problem but it's skewing the MVP race. As you can see...

My Rockets team barely made the playoffs in my first season, squeaking in as a 7 seed. I handled the Thunder, beating them 4-1. It was never really close which was shocking.

The second round was a little tougher. Battled the Clippers to a game 7, in which I won by scoring 50. Harden went down with a broken jaw in game 1, and we went down 3-1. Luckily I got Hibbert back and it gave us just enough to get past them only winning each of the next 3 games by 4-5 ppg.

        Western Finals:
        (5)
        Timberwolves
        (7) Rockets

        Eastern Finals:
        (2)
        76ers
        (5) Nets

I got Aldridge to get Lebron fouled out and once hes out its practically a cake walk.

Also is there a way to tell someone else to shoot it without the kinect? Sometimes I hit someone wide open for three and they just drive in.

We faced the Hawks in the first round of the playoffs. I played only the first game and the elimination game. We won the game in 5 games. Next round will be up against Detroit, the team that drafted me. It's going to be an interesting series.

you literately get the sponsorship after you play 5 games regardless how you play so i have no clue why you dont got it yet.

Lost to the Heat in 5 games in the 1st round. Now I'm a free agent. Got the Grizzlies, Heat, Celtics, Pistons, Jazz, Hawks, Bobcats, Hornets, Cavaliers, Bucks, Kings, and 76ers offering me a contract. Some good offers here. Total of 12 teams. Pistons may be good because McKnight and Monroe. Hornets got AD. Bucks got Ellis and Jennings. Kings got Cousins, Robinson, and Evans. 76ers got Bynum. Plus in this game now Holiday is 89 and Turner 87. Heat got LBJ and Wade. Plus the Jazz and Hawks have some good players. Kings is who I was looking for though. May pick them. Weird I didn't see my team the Raptors here though. Didn't want to come back any way though.

I picked the Sacramento Kings. Tyreke Evans 92 overall. B+ inside and outside shooting and A in perimeter defense. Cousins is 93 overall. He has A inside shooting, A post defense, and A rebounding. Thomas Robinson is 84 overall. He has A- inside scoring and A rebounding. Jimmer Fredette has improved to 77 overall and can shoot lights out from 3. I got two good young big men and Tyreke Evans is one of the best SG in the league in my game. Got a complete team in Sacramento. Plus I like the challenge of playing on this small market team. Starting line up.
                    Fredette
                    Evans
                    Me
                    Robinson
                    Cousins

Our team is 92 overall!! 6th best overall in the league. Bye bye Toronto.

Just closed out the Conference semi-finals against the Pistons in 6 games. We blew them out in Game 6 114-80. I had a monster game, finishing with 36pts, 11 rebounds and a whopping 8 blocks with only 1 turnover. My next opponent would be up against either the Bulls or Heat; they are tied 3-3. If we face the Heat it would be a rematch of last year's series, which we lost 4-2 in the Conference semi-finals.
I will have an easier match-up if I face against the Heat since they do not have a strong Center, but they are really strong overall since they have the Big 3. I'm pretty sure Bradley (with his Lockdown Defender) and KG can guard D-Wade and CB, but I'm not sure about Pierce vs James.
If we face the Bulls though, it will be easier for our team compared to the Heat. The only tough match-ups would be Rondo vs Rose, and me vs Noah. In previous match-ups, Noah would always get the offensive rebound through some weird methods. But I've been able to get more than 10 rebounds on him as well anyway. Really excited to see who we will be facing next.

                      Round 1 averages: 18.8ppg, 11rpg, 2apg, 1.4bpg
                      Round 2 averages: 19.5ppg, 11.5rpg, 3apg, 2.1bpg
I played only the Game 1 and 1 elimination game of each series

Yes. I think this started happening in these 2 weeks. I have 95 speed, 90 quickness for my All-Around SF. I used to be able to stay close to my man and or blow by defenders...not anymore.

Upgrade the HUSTLE attribute, it has an effect on how you move.

I find the player reacts in a sluggish way too. I find it's mostly the game putting me in types of deny animations and so forth that really slows me down.

The AI does seem to get a boost when I hit turbo too (I tested it running down the court in transition, and just tapping turbo to watch my defender and he ran significantly faster when I had Turbo depressed).

It's a bit annoying, but my stat lines have been pretty fair (I'm only on Pro...) so I don't complain too much.

I want to learn how to take guys off the dribble before I try higher difficulties. Still struggle with that. I'll try upping Hustle as well for defensive movement.

I can understand a need to make sure that speed/quickness aren't too overpowering, but it is a bit frustrating to have people with ratings of 80/80 have no real problems keeping up with my player that has 91 speed and 96 quickness. To the point where it almost seems like speed/quickness are so essential because I couldn't imagine NOT being a "fast and quick" player.

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread

i had grown pretty tired of this game (my own fault really) and gave it one last shot by creating a 6'8 233lb SF. I decided i would not be purchasing _any_ vc and grunting it out while starting out on Superstar // Default settings while focusing on being a team player and running the correct plays. I was pretty interested in bedwardsroy19's roster so i set that up. needless to say it was pretty damn grueling. i was drafted to the thunder and quickly into the season i requested a trade to the suns (straight up for beasley, lol). i played every game and it took me 61 games to crack the starting rotation (mostly 'cause dudley was hurt). i ended up avg 11 mins a game // 7.2ppg on 30% shooting with nothing else very standout-ish. once i got the starting job i shut myself down and simmed the last 2 key games to end the season (since we were 2nd to last in the conference) and instead spent time doing all of the drills i had saved up. i put all of my vc into midrange/close/ball handling.

anyways, season 1 was extremely tough for me and i borderline gave up but instead opted to change the difficulty and play style to All Star // Simulation. playing on simulation helped a ton, especially when getting calls when driving to the basket, and generally felt more realistic. the other thing that was really great is that the suns actually drafted an 80 overall SG! unreal. he started on day 1 (funny 'cause no rookie i ever made started on day 1) and works really well with me. i feel a lot of plays are being called for me to score but i'm refusing to hit the 30ppg mark and instead trying to really focus on drawing double teams or finding open guys. i'm only 3 games in and i might bump it back up to superstar since we've won the 1st 3 in closely contested games.

overall, everything i've done with this guy has made the game so much more enjoyable for me and is a lot more fun than just sitting there and calling pnr plays and trying to be a triple double avg player (lol). my stats are still worse (so far) than melo and lbj's 1st or 2nd years so i don't think i'm breaking the game just yet. i've got to pump a lot into other areas that suck and severely reduce my turnovers // lose balls.

So asked for trade to jazz or hornets. So they trade me and Jr smith for Gordon and Vasquez.

So on good note I am now starting PG. Bad is I won't be playing along side Eric Gordon. And I think bulls just became powerhouse with Gordon beside rose.
