sometimes i think the game wants us to loose for no reason. ...

While sometimes I feel this way as well, logically I know it is just my frustration with the situation at hand.

As an example: in my last game, I was one rebound away from what would be my first triple double, and the coach subbed me out at the 2 minute mark.

I hope 2k provides more situational awareness logic to the ai in the future, so that perhaps the coach would ask you if you want to stay in or actually try to help you make milestones.

You said the coach was getting mad at you for no reason... were you cancelling called plays? I've noticed that the coach's pleasure with you gets diminished when this is done.

I would love to see more options considering our minutes and such.

1. If it's a blowout game, don't make me play the whole 36 minutes. Just play for 20 min and done. Let me decide whether or not I want to keep going.

2. Sub me out when I'm tired. The coach just keeps you going, it doesn't look at your stamina at all. The logic is probably, I gave you 36 minutes, you have to complete the 36 minutes.

3. Also an option for who is guarding who on screens. I rather keep it fixed. There is no communication between players (obviously) so we should be able to arrange this in a menu.

I was guarding Harden on a screen, I go over it and take the shortcut but Batum starts running after him. Meanwhile I already went to the left side to Harden but my arrow is pointing to the other side and I should have been guarding Parson.


4. When Harden blows by me at the 3 point line and there are 2 bigs at the basket, PLEASE slide in and block his shot or at least try to contest this. The AI is so dumb. They just let him make the easy layup.

One thing that helped my Center was getting the Gatorade Pack, It is only 50 pts and it allows you to go full bore at the beginning, building up the momentum. once you max stamina, you can switch it out, but it is something I recommend. it might also allow you to build up another skill before needing to max out stamina.

I had plans on doing that, but I was on the fence with it. I had all intentions on getting Eraser skill, but after reading the rewards I changed my mind. It would be better if they lowered shooting ratings DURING shot, not after.

But, yeah I will get Gatorade Pack. I did the same thing with my PG. I will use Gatorade pack, until I boost certain ratings. I have plans for boosting FT, Hustle, Hands, Off Reb, Def Reb, Shot Inside and Close all to 80. Before in previous games, I use to max one rating at a time. Since we dont get as much for games, I have to take the shorter route. I just have to remember not to skip to next game.

Since I wont be getting Eraser, I have to change up my plans for Sig Skills. I have Scrapper and Brick Wall(love it). I plan on getting Finisher and Anti-freeze. Besides Gatorade Pack, I have to find out the last one. I am deciding between 3. Defensive Anchor, Bruiser, and Post Proficiency. I am leaning to PP. Although Bruiser is pretty tempting because making opponents tired quicker is something worth having

I do the same. Ironically, 80 is my starting bar as well for initial investment. The only thing that really bothers me this year compared to both 2k11 and 2k12 is that defensive development lags substantially. I am finding that I often do not get my defensive attributes developed the way I like until the 2nd season.

Exactly.

Last year, it only took me my rookie season to get my defensive where I like it for my PF/C. It is easy to get A+ in teammate grade. But, you also have to have a great game consistently to get alot of VC.

So I'm a PG for the Rockets and I had the difficulty at Pro and we won basically every game. So I put it to All-Star but now we've been blown out by almost 20 every game. How do I fix this?

Is it just me or your camera won't save when you switch in MyCareer I had it on 2K awhile back. Now it refuses to let me go back to turbo. At the start of every game now I have to switch it to turbo.

The differences in ratings could be dependent on what some of the sig skills of your given opponent are.

They can have certain signature skills that lower your ratings for a certain period of time.

If that is the case, then it's EVERY player I've played against..and it's for entire games, not for periods of time

In my fourth season in My Player I was finally selected as an All Star, almost two million votes (the most in the East) but I didn't start the game and I only scrub minutes.

Is this a bug or am I just unlucky?

I think it's a bug, it happen to me in both 2K11 and 2K13. In 2k11, I had more votes than D-Wade, but I didn't start.

My career is cool the games are not always high for me the defensive stand point is pretty cool but my player is rated a 70 but when i go to the thing during a game its says im a 62 and all my attributes are down is this a problem for everyone are is my morale the problem and i should ask for a trade because in 2k12 it happened and i asked for a trade and i got traded and everything was cool

Visiting the 13-4 Heat with my 10-8 (a record I've fought HARD to achieve so far) Hornets. I'm very happy that I've been starting at PG and playing ALL of my mins at PG. AD is finally returning from a 3 game hiatus where he had the flu (2-1 during that stretch, W vs MEM & LAL, L vs OKC), thank goodness.

Avg'ing 22, 3 & 7.5 so far, and just tryna get into the postseason and make some noise possibly. AD is going to be a beast and it's so much fun running pick & fades with Anderson who is $$ from everywhere.

Got the Floor Gen skill which is helping a lot, also gonna save up for Lockdown Defender. Because guys like CP3, Westbrook, DWill, they torch me nonstop.

Time to get it. I know Lebron is about to spaz on me, lol

Kinda weird, since the patch All-Star/Sim became too easy, so now I put it to SS/Sim and it seems like the CPU makes SO MANY contested shots. I can get them to miss, and it still isn't as maddening as the O Rebs glitch from before, but it seems they are hitting at an unreal clip on SS/Sim. Jeremy Lamb went 7-9 from 3 on me in the blowout L vs OKC. Some were pretty well contested too.

Oh well. Can't go back down to AS, so hopefully they tune this.

Pre-patch I was averaging 24, 10 and 8. After the patch I'm averaging 35, 13 and 5. The scoring has gone up and the assists have gone down, not because I choose to ball hog but, because I have to score more because my teammates refuse to take their shots when I give them the ball since the patch.
