But was wondering what's better for lay ups, Shot Inside or Shot close. If anyone know's the difference between shot inside and shot close that would be cool because the seem like the same thing....
For layups, shot close is what's needed, shot inside is basically for when you're underneath the basket. You can see the difference in shooting drill as to what area on the court is for each shot rating. If you do a layup in the shooting drill, you will always get credit for a 'shot close' shot.

Yea sooooo, the Heat granted me my trade to my NYK, and I couldn't be more happy. I know the Heat didn't want to trade me, as I helped lead them to 11 straight wins while I was there, but I'm glad they let me go. Both Melo and Amare are currently injured, so they're going to need me, although they have been doin pretty good without them with JR Smith leading them. The guy was averaging 30ppg though the 1st 23 games of the season. Anyways, MIA threw in future draft pick with me for Jason Kidd which is good, because it's a PG for PG trade, so MIA doesn't have to use Norris Cole as their starting PG(Chalmers got traded to NOLA). Well back to myCareer.

I'm happy to get my first 2K triple-double with my PF, Although it was in an OT loss to the Spurs. I got it in 29 minutes with 15 points, 15 rebs and 10 assists.

Annoyed we still lost and the Spurs had Duncan out injured.

Well that trade finally happened and I actually like it, even though it's probably not "fair" or "realistic":

          Pistons send:
          Rodney Stuckey and Andre Drummond

          Celtics send:
          Kenneth Faried and Avery Bradley

Right after the trade happened I was quite mad about us sending away Faried and nearly demanded a trade, but the more I thought about it.... it actually helps our team. Drummond is basically what we needed in the paint, a guy that can block shots and grab boards (he's 3rd in the league in blocks and 8th in rebounds). This moves KG to PF, which will open up the paint even more and he'll be a mismatch for some of the PFs in the league.
For some reason, I really like Stuckey in this game. I played with him when I was on the Pistons in my PG career and loved it. He can get his own shot and finish when he gets to the rim. Something our team really needed.

So, I played a few key games and simmed about 2 weeks and we ended up going roughly .500, so I go to the GM just for fun to see if I could complain about Jeff Green being a thorn in my side, and low and behold: there's another "I'm tired of losing" conversation option.

I go for 5 more guys, mostly role players because I didn't want to break up the team again, and we made another trade about a week later:

          Lakers send:
          Jodie Meeks and Chris Duhon

          Celtics send:
Jason Terry and a PF we drafted after the 2013 season (We drafted two PF/C types and this guy was actually the 2nd rounder and not very good, so whoopie)

This trade really helps us as Jason Terry just wasn't getting along with anyone and we already had a plethora of PFs on the roster. Meeks has been able to stretch the court when he gets into the game and it's really helping us, as our bench was low on outside scoring outside of Jamal Crawford. Duhon is a nice fit as we really didn't have a solid PG backing up Rondo. Jason Terry just wasn't cutting it for us.

Anyway, we're back up to .500 on the season, sitting near the 8 spot in the East, and the entire team seems to be playing better. I think Jason Terry was the bad seed of the bunch, because now everyone (except Jeff Green who is still mad about playing time. 'Just suck it up Jeff, you're getting 17 minutes off the bench, give it a rest') has high morale. Even Rondo is dunking on people.

We'll see what happens the rest of the way. I'm excited about the team again thanks to all these trades.

The teammate grade system needs improvement. It penalizes you more than it rewards you, and you pretty much have to play 12 minute quarters to consistently get an A+. Ridiculous.

First round completed with a sweep of the Bobcats. The 76ers got a sweep too, so we will face them in the next round. I need to work on my turnovers, I had 8 last game. Passing is so annoying.

                Year 3 - OKC - 65-13

We're making the playoffs again with the best record in the NBA and i'm hoping for a repeat. Our lineup is

                PG - Reggie Jackson
                SG - Me
                SF - KD
                PF - Serge
                C - Perkins

Me and KD are 1st and 2nd in the MVP race, I won it last year though and will probably win it again lol. I'll update it when the season ends and the playoffs begin

He was traded to Portland for me my Rookie season lol and oddly enough I'm playing them right now. I forgot to mention that me and KD's contracts are up after this season, idk if i'm going to stay or what, it depends on if KD is staying. If not, I might head to Phoenix and ball with Lebron, Chicago w/ D.Rose (2nd Best record in the NBA) or head to Miami w/ Dwade. I'm leaning towards Chicago

Try to assist, or score on most offensive possesions when possible. Feeding a big man under the basket is the easiest way to get assists. (They still miss a lot) Your best bet for scoring is on dunks.

I was on a 15 game winning streak with the Milwaukee Bucks and I faced the Thunder at home. In the first half, we were down 22 points 78-56. KD had 26 and Jeremy Lamb out of all people had 15 and was destroying us. I was also shooting terrible but I had a feeling we could come back. In the 3rd quarter, we came roaring back and we cut the lead to 4 at the end of the 3rd. In the 4th, we took the lead but then I fouled out with 6 minutes to go in a 107-110 game. I simmed the rest of the game and we won 121-119 somehow against the Thunder to bring our winning streak to 16.

Monte Ellis is a nightmare to guard against. I can hold him to under 30 most times. The good thing is I can always light him up, so we both end up playing a game of one on one.

In other news, we beat the 76ers 4-2 and now will face the Heat in the Western Conference Finals. My old team, the Warriors are in the Western Conference Finals. Would be a great Finals if we matched up. Here is how my Cavaliers look.

Question for my career n roster updates. If there is a roster update do I need to restart my career to let the tweaks become effective like lay up blocks r working? I'm not talking about the roster change itself just the gameplay change
