Im only playing 19 mins a game even tho I'm a starter, theres only 5mins each quater, how to increase the minutes of the game? 2nd is that, how do I average more AST's? What are the best signature skills for myCareer? 3rd) Why cant I do some real good dunks on myCareer like I can on blacktop?

Do you have highlight reel installed?...that usually makes your guy do some of the flashier dunks ..I like to go with posterizer cuz that's what I do

I was on the verge of breaking Jordan's scoring record for the bulls...the dynamic goal shows up telling me to break the record...I call for the ball...hinrich throws the ball 10 rows into the stands coach pulls ME from the game :what: pure nonsense haha

I'm using my PG career so scoring isn't really a priority for me but this game I was hitting everything so I said eff it and just went ham...I wish the damn CPU went off grades too cuz the majority of the mistakes come from my teammates yet I'm the one who gets the TO

happens to me too....... like 2 dynamic goals were ups for grabs - leading at the end of the game (coming from behind) and overtaking assist record of Skiles.

Less than 2 minutes, Portland was up by 3 points, gatorade icon is up and i made a pass that my teammate lost it, instead of calling a timeout, he yanked me!!!!!

I think the coaching program in MyCareer is not "game sensitive" - less than 2 minutes, opposing team is leading with 3 points, pulling me out!!! we lost for 6 points, i missed grabbing the 2 dynamic goals........grrrrr.

Yeah, that sounds about right, only it was a massive party. One that sent shock waves through the rest of the league and left them all wishing I was on their team instead of right here where I belong. I'm about to take this city by storm, followed by the league, and then the world. This is only the beginning, man. And just think, you all can say you were here witnessing history by talking to me right when it all went down.

So, after playing in the middle of my 3rd season with Portland, my profile mysteriously became corrupted and my whole career was wiped out. Needless to say I was not a happy camper. We came off a championship and a finals appearance (faced Miami both times). Lebron was epic in both finals, as was I. We were starting to develop a fierce rivalry but it was wiped out in the blink of an eye. So I create a 6'3 athlethic pg and I go 9th to Detroit. Toronto interviewed me first and I bombed that interview lol. Detroit was 2nd so I said ok I can do something in Detroit with Monroe. My 3rd interview was with NOLA. I wish they were my 2nd because I would have loved to run pick and roll with Anthony Davis like we did in the Rookie Showcase. So, I get selected by the Pistons and I'm starting by my 7th game... But at SG. Brandon Knight is starting at PG and I HATE playing with this guy because he is a bonafide ballhog. I try not to call for the ball because I get penalized (ridiculous). I don't wanna be a diva and complain to the GM about this guy, so I guess I have to keep playing well until he's on the bench. So far we're 10-8 and Greg Monroe is playing like a beast (thanks to me on pick n roll lol) I'm hoping we can have a decent season. Not expecting a title this year but a good playoff run would be nice.

Jesus what is going on with the spammers.

Anyway, thank goodness I play on PC and can use cheat engine to make it so I start. I keep getting placed in the starting five, do really well and get A+ rankings and then I'm benched. Not anymore.

We ended up with the 6th seed in the East after starting the season 17-30. Just played the first game against the Knicks and although there was some serious CPU cheese, we ended up winning by five. On too game two.

quick questions...how many could you equip your players with the skills? I see some NBA stars have 4 skills...is that the maximum? Is there a way you could "de-activate" the other skills and use the ones you prefer for a specific game?

5 is the most you can equip at a time, and yes, you can activate and deactivate them as you please.

I missed the All Star 3 Point Contest. All I saw from my schedule is Rising Star Challenge and All Star Game, both contest I was there. So I thought there's no Dunk or 3 ptr contest in MyCareer (this is my first tiime to play NBA 2k since 2k4).

Then when i was browsing, i think NBA.com, saw the contestants for Dunk and 3 ptr... and I was one of the contestants in the 3 ptr, but did not see how or when to play this game.


Any tips why I missed this one? I played the Rising Star and All Star but didnt see this

It's one of the many glitches in mycareer...sometimes I play in all the all star festivities and sometimes I don't..my SF myCAREER guy won both the 3 point and dunk contests without me playing any of those

Won game two by a massive margin. My player was on fire from three. Anyway, I tried to sim to the closing game but we ended up going down 3-2, so I guess I can't sim because the game is stupid. No biggie I guess.
