Jazz Association, I've played a few games as one position, watched CPU's play, and simmed games. 10 games in and it is 3-7 standings. This is due to a rough first month, with games against San Antonio, Memphis, Lakers, Denver, Boston, and Philly. I see them getting better in the standings.

I traded Marvin Williams who simply wasn't producing, along with Earl Watson and a 2nd Round Pick for Gary Forbes and Terrence Jones. This move was mainly for Terrence Jones, but Gary Forbes has been a great surprise, being efficient in his time on the floor. I also waived Carroll and Darnell Jackson. I signed a few free agents as well.

I owe someone a HUGE apology! I couldnt find your post so please if you see this I give all clearance to air me out

You to told me to trade MKG for K.Leonard and I straight up shot that trade down like it was the worst move ever! LOL!

I just made a 3 team move between me (Bobcats), Spurs, and Celtics.

Celtics got:
B.Diaw
'14 1st Round Pick (from CHA)

Spurs got:
MKG
'14 2nd Round pick (from CHA)
I.Mahinmi

Bobcats got (me):
K.Leonard

I know the Spurs got & Celts got the better end of the deal in most eyes, but I got rid of MKG for someone who can shoot and play D, plus it wasnt a cheese trade.

So once again to homie who told me K.Leonard was a good option THANK YOU, AND MY FAULT FOR KNOCKIN' YOUR SUGGESTION!!

You got robbed, you should've asked for a 2nd round from Boston and a 1st round from San Antonio at the least.

Rolling along nicely as the #1 pick in myCAREER, but I want to start an association so I always have something interesting to do. I want to pick teams that have multiple pieces missing to becoming a championship contender, or young teams who are rebuilding. Can you help me choose one?:

Bobcats (exciting to do a total rebuild)
Jazz (like the Favors/Kanter combo, trading Millsap or Jefferson for a star)
Pistons (managing potential, bad contracts, and finding an identity)
Kings (my favorite team besides Lakers; tons of potential; needs defense)

I'm 11 games into my Celtics Association and am currently sitting at 6-5. 0.5 game behind the Nets and 76ers.

Things should start picking up from here because the way I play Association is I play the first 10 games in full. Then I write down all the teams and go through my calendar. I make sure to play every team at least one time (this includes the first 10 games) and sim the rest. I try to play one game a week; playing the lesser teams as early in the year as possible. Once I get to the 2nd half of the season, I will also play extra big games" as I see fit. With this method, I usually play 35-40 regular season games. I'm hoping to get 2 maybe three seasons in.

Team Update
If you looked up team in the dictionary you would see a picture of the 12-13 Boston Celtics. In any given night someone could step up and lead the team in scoring, then the next night the may only have a few points. Here's a quick look at some stats (12 min. quarters, mk's sliders)

Pierce - 18.1 PPG, 4.6 RPG, 2.7 APG
Garnett - 14.7, 6.1 RPG
Rondo - 14.6 PPG, 10.8 APG, 3.2 SPG
Terry - 10.5 PPG, 3.8 APG
Bass - 8.9 PPG, 8.2 RPG
Bradley - 8.5 PPG, 4 RPG, 1.6 APG, 1.2 SPG
Sullinger - 6.5 PPG, 5.8 RPG
Green - 6.4 PPG, 4.4 RPG
Milicic - 2.9 PPG, 3.6 RPG
Lee - 2.9 PPG, 1.9 RPG
Joseph - 1.7 PPG
Melo - 0.4 PPG

I know, other than maybe Rondo, not too impressive. :o
Also Wilcox has been injured since the second game of the season and currently has low morale - which is super annoying. I thought they fixed this last year?

Anyway, we're the second worst in scoring offense with 95.2 per game (Cleveland is worse with 94.3 ppg). However, we have the best defense 92.3. My next two games is against San Antonio and OKC. Then we finish out November against Orlando, Brooklyn and Portland. If I'm not careful, I'll start December with a losing record, but I'm hoping to be a few game above .500 instead. We'll see how it goes..

How many minutes for a simulated game gets u guys the best results?

I play with 9 minute quarters and get great results, I don't want the computer to hit the 100s every game but also not too low.

Just started my association with the Bobcats... Gonna turn the Kemba-MKG duo into a deadly one. Going to add some role players, and hopefully a nice young center to round out this team.

As a Bobcats fan, I'd start Mullens at C over Haywood. No need to have a starting PF & C who are liabilities on the offensive end. And keep Biyombo(sp?). 2K screwed him on a few of his ratings. Bobcats actually have some pieces to work with.

I am also a Bobcats fan. I do not agree with you on Biyombo. While he does have potential, he raw and I feel like his 2k rating reflects that. He has no post game, and is not a great rebounder, he does block shots well but he is not going to block every shot. I hope some of the flashes of ability that we saw last yr will continue to progress so that he will become a better all around player for the Bobcats sake lol

I want to start an association with the Detroit Pistons, and re-build them into the same mold as the early to mid 00's days. Basically gritty defense style. This is what I have planned.

Brandon Knight/Chauncey Billups- Just direct the offense, team leader role.
Austin Daye/Tayshaun Prince- Same build, lanky defender.
Andre Drummond/Ben Wallace- Defence. Just need him to swat away any shots, and rebound, rebound, rebound.

Also I would like to hear what you guys think about Greg Monroe and Rasheed Wallace comparisons? Whats similar, whats not, what I can improve to imitate prime Sheed's game.

Also which young player in the NBA today, resembles a prime Rip Hamilton? The 04 championship Pistons is my favourite team of all time. Im a guy who appreciates good hard defense over flashy offense. Thanks in advance

First, forgive me...I dont know why but I hate fantasy drafts lol

Secondly I have Parsons on my Bobcats team, he does disappear sometimes but well worth it for the times he shows up!

Haha I don't particularly like them either, it takes away from the realism. But we have a good time running through online seasons so I don't mind it.

Well my pacers got revenge versus the Spurs at home. This time Hibbert did not shut down his mentor, but Duncan sure as hell didn't shut Hibbert down. Ended up with 21 pts and 11 boards with 6 of those being huge offensive boards. Hibbert was obviously the player of the game but surprisingly they gave it to George who did have an 18 and 8 game, but Hibbert was spectacular. Spurs were tough to put away and Parker was amazing with 29 pts 9 ast and 8 rbs. It was a grind out game and it was ultimately our toughness down low that did it. 3 ball wasn't there but Hibbert, West and surprisingly Hansborough were game changers. Hansbrough was huge off the bench with only 6 pts but 6 offensive rebounds. Spurs have a lot of size down low but pacers outplayed em in the post.

It is official now that Hibbert is back from his rough road stretch and back to being our most important player on both ends. Trouble is we face the Lake show next and Hibbert is going against the best Center in the league. But maybe Howard will be too busy being an *** like always that Hibbert will outperform him... Ha, im not a fan of howard but we will see what happens... I need my bench to be outstanding, green played a little better with hill on the bench so hopefully him and augustine can get some chemistry. I need Hill to score a little more this next game cause Howard will prob lock down the post. Gonna be a battle of 2 of the best teams in the league. Pacers at 10-4 and Lakers at 9-4.

I asked the Spurs for '14 2nd rd..declined. lol I know it looks like I got shafted but MKG did not fit at all. He messed up our entire ball movement system.

I played BOS right after the trade & lost by 10 (KG abused us 29pts 19reb 4stl) but our offense ran so much smoother

Yea I hate making trades then feeling guilty cause I took advantage of the CPU. With this trade I got rid of a 800lb gorilla in our offense and I still have the Suns 1st rd pick (way more value than my 1st rd) . I also am good at finding players in FA that fit my style but are cheap! Right now were 28mil under the cap. I can retain my key pieces and sign better role players. I love having no superstars! MKG defense wasnt worth his salary OR his offensive deficiencies

Plus I hate cheese trades
