Haven't been around for awhile, been busy. I started a new Rockets association the other day whenever Harden got traded to them. I simmed the first season and cleared cap room to sign Dwight Howard and Brandon Jennings. I have like 965k left on the cap.

Just played my first game with them and the defense is unreal. I played the defending champion Thunder in the first game and held Durant to 2 points in 19 minutes and held Westbrook to 4 points in 17 minutes. Beat them 88-59.

Big Three:
Harden: 21 pts, 5 reb, 1 ast, 1 blk
Howard: 19 pts, 6 reb, 1 stl
Jennings: 6 pts, 5 reb, 3 ast

Next game: San Antonio Spurs

San Antonio was once again no match for the Big Three of the rockets. Howard went nuts in the game, and Harden closed the door to end the game on fire. Won the game, 101-65. I think I need to up the difficulty.

Again, the defense was amazing. Holding Duncan to only 2 points and holding Ginobili to 2 as well. Parker scored only 10.

Big Three:
Howard: 33 pts, 14 reb, 2 stl, 1 blk
Harden: 29 pts, 4 reb, 5 ast, 2 stl
Jennings: 8 pts, 4 reb, 11 ast, 1 stl, 2 blk

Finally won a game vs dallas! 97-84. Got a solid game from rudy gay with 28pts 9reb and 7ast while randolph added 14 and 10reb, redd had 17 with 3/5 3pt and gasol had 7and 7. Won it thru full court press and pressure D from the paint. We managed to limit dirk to 3-11 fg with only 8pts

Now 1-2 next up lakers then okc! Good luck to me

Game against lakers, we got down by 21 with 56-35 with kobe scoring 23 1st half points. Then suddenly we got back and trim it down to 3 in the final 3 minutes! So exciting! Too bad we missed some crucial plays and lost by 7. Gay scored 34pts 8reb and 5asst, randolph added 18. We limit howard to 10 and gasol scoreless but kobe had 32!

Game vs okc was more exciting! We were down by 15 and managed to get back thanks to the mismatch in pf position with randolph to kd (ibaka injured). We got back the lead in the 4th and managed to lead by 2 on the last 8sec. Last shot from 3 by westbrook too strong and we won 96-94!

Gay had another monster game with 32, 6 and 4, randolph had 18, gasol 12 and 8 and conley had 12 asst!

Next gs and okc again! 2-3 standing

I also made a trade to get rid of elington:
Suns gets ellington, 2013 2nd pick, 2014 1st and 2nd picks
Griz gets 2013 1st pick suns

i´ve lost 2 in a row now in my Pistons association.i´ve had problems with turnovers nad Knicks absollutely killed me on that.Kidd had 13 points,14 assists and 7 steals !! After the really bad first half i just couldn´t come back and lost by 12 points 92-80.so im 6-8 in my season with Pistons and next game is against struggling Blazers.Hope to win this one and need a better game from my pg Knight.He has averaged 5 turnovers over the last 2 games and has shot really bad.

IM OFF WORK TODAY, the wife knows Im playing 2k all day loooong!

So Ill really get a chance to do some things like..

How do I assign plays to specific players? I want to assign 4 PnR plays to Kemba, some cutter plays for Iggy, some post ups for Hibbert, etc. That way when guys are hot I have a very specific gameplan to get them the rock.

I couldnt find a thread on this nor a video on youtube

Any help is greatly appreciated

So Ill really get a chance to do some things like..

For those of you a few years into your Association, how are player ratings? Too many 90+ or has 2K done a decent job of keeping things balanced?

Ive seen that menu but I cant select different types of PnR plays for Kemba..it keep selecting the same one. Im probably not explaining my problem well. Im going to my cpu, im on my cell right now

no you explained well... it was my fault for skimming through it.. press x to swap panels and you can choose from a whole list of plays on the bottom

By about year three, every team is 90+ overall so it is still broken.

you "Figga-deal" me now? LOL, yea I cant figure it out. I see we (CHA) have like 11 PnR plays but I can only select 1. I know I have to be missing something, I dont want to automatically assume theres a glitch just because I cant figure it out, but man, it would nice to be able to assign each guy on my team a few plays! Real Noooyce!
