Just hit my first buzzer beater in my Cavs association. Was hot with CJ Miles all game from the three. Down by 2 with 11 seconds left after forcing a turnover. Ran the clock down with Kyrie and got trapped by Rose and Hamilton but was able to kick it to Miles for the wing 3 pointer and the winLast edited by MrNice; 11-07-2012, 06:28 PM. -

Buzzer beaters are always fun, win or lose!Rather than complain about life, take responsibility and do something about it..Comment

Re: Official NBA2K13 Association Thread
hey guys
sorry if i missed it..i been trying to read through it buts its i **** ton.
Is there anyway i can sign a player and then trade him right away to make it like real life rosters..im like 8 games deep and wanted to get eddy curry off the mvs since he was cut and then sign troy murphy to my team (cavs) and tried him to the mavs since they signed him (since force cpu trades are on)
Im kinda obsessed with having ratings esprecially having the other teams rosters exact. especially when i free agent is signed and is getting playing time right awayComment

Re: Official NBA2K13 Association Thread
You can always resign from your team make the changes to the other team and then go back to your team cchaffee20
Side note: I noticed if you resign from your team and adjust the total sim control for another team it stays like that for the whole season even after you resign and go back to your original team.
Adjusting the Nets and Clippers Total Sim Control (plus raising touches and lowering shot tend slightly) I got realistic stats for CP3 and D Will.
CP3 18 ppg and 9.2 apg
D Will 17.3 ppg and 10.9 apg

Re: Official NBA2K13 Association Thread
I played and simmed through about 60 games of year one with the Bucks. I was in the playoff hunt around the deadline but I was in gridlock with about six other teams for the 6-8 spots so I went into "sell" mode. I traded Monta Ellis to the Suns for Marcin Gortat. Packaged Samuel Dalembert and Ekpe Udoh in a deal for a 1st round pick. (To a contender so I knew it'd be late teens at best). Went ahead and simmed the final 20 games of the season and ended up finishing 34-48.
In the offseason I got lucky and got the 5th overall pick. Somehow Shabazz Muhammad fell to me so I took him. I drafted C.J. McCollum with a later 1st round pick I got in the Dalembert/Udoh deal. I also signed J.R. Smith to a two year deal to use as my 6th man. Also signed Greg Oden to a one year contract.
So this is my 2013-2014 roster:
PG Brandon Jennings
SG Shabazz Muhammad
SF Ersan Ilyasova
PF John Henson
C Marcin Gortat
PG C.J. McCollum
SG J.R. Smith
SF Tobias Harris
PF Larry Sanders
C Greg Oden
C Drew Gooden
SF Luc Richard Mbah a Moute
I'm currently 27-20 in year two, second in the division, and fifth in the East. Jennings is fifth in the MVP race averaging 19-11-4-2. J.R. Smith is leading the 6th man race averaging 13-3-2. Shabazz is second in the ROY race averaging 14-4-4-1.Comment

Nice job man, good to see what someone else does with the Bucks. Your squad is much different than mine.Comment

Re: Official NBA2K13 Association Thread
Played the Cavs last night in my Warriors association. Kyrie did me dirty!!! Uncle Drew is beastly in this game. Given Steph Curry isn't the best defender..but daaaammnn! He had 31-9-5..we had a shootout & came up short on a Klay Thompson miss at the buzzer. Good game though. I looked forward to welcoming them into Oracle in December. Tonight i'm looking for revenge against the Clippers at Staples.
3-3 thus far sitting in the middle of the division. The Clippers are 6-1.
Go Dubs!
AllStar 10min/58 games btwComment

Re: Official NBA2K13 Association Thread
I started an Association with the Spurs. We try to make at least one run for the Finals with the Duncan/Ginobilli/Parker-Core while the Lakers haven't found their chemistry yet and the Thunder learn to live without Harden. In order to have a 7-Footer for the post-Duncan-era we traded Patty Mills and Boris Diaw's Boobs to Indiana for Ian Mahinmi. Mahinmi had a nice start in Texas: Before he even played a single game he got injured. Now he is out for two weeks. As a backup Point Guard i signed Johnny Flinn (69). It's basically his last chance in the league to become a decent player. Pop's gonna make him work hard.
I'm not sure who should start at the 4 for me. Blair is very small and Splitter and Bonner aren't good enough I fear.Comment
